TMICs have basically zero turbo lag, much less piping (my "intercooler piping" is literally 2 couplers), and it weighs much less. A FMIC won't suffer as much from heat soak, can be much larger (efficient), they're expensive, you have dozens of couplers a day pipes, and sometimes you have to cut parts of your car. If you're near stock, go TMIC, if you're going balls to the wall, FMIC no doubt 👍🏼

With front mount also your intercooler return pipe also runs over your valve cover. So by the time the air gets to the intake won't be as cold or dense. They both have advantages but top mount is better. Otherwise manufacturers wouldn't make them have them.
Tbf not quite sure. but longer tubing is more opportunities to loose cooling. Ummm yes but most manufacturers front mounts are to small to actually be beneficial with mods. I like top mount cause the instant boost. Thats my go.
@connormathot3718 I took the idea from the old srt4 and purchased a kit called cry02 intercooler water sprayer , i mounted the tank in the trunk and ran the lines and mounted the injection above the cpe unit . So if I am going to do some pulls, I put ice water in the tank and go have some fun
