Seriously, I’m seeing a few shorts come up taking about it just this morning!
Scorcher for bots, Dominator for bugs if you're looking for single shot (not spread damage) BECAUSE of the explosive damage and since hunters like to run up on you the shots are not safe.
Breaker incendiary is by far the best gun for bugs imo. Play on helldive and tell me how good the dom is for clearing out hordes of 30+ enemies...
Also, I'd say the dominator is better on bots (better stagger/damage but can't take down striders as easily) than scorcher but they're both really good. I'd say it comes down to accuracy, if your accuracy is good the dom will always be the more optimal choice as it'll one shot deveatators in the head.
Dominator and scorcher for bots, breaker incendiary for bugs is better
Dominator dropped entirely for its lack of a competent mag size… punisher for bugs, slugger or plas-1 for bots.
@@Zebrahhh Dominator and the plas 1 scorcher have the exact same mag size only the dom has better damage and stagger. The only upside to the scorcher is it can shoot striders with shots right to the armor plate and it's projectiles are slightly faster but that's easily compensated for.
Dominator + Autocannon/AMR, can't be beat for bots imo

I prefer Incendiary Breaker for bugs
I wish the 25% fire buff applied to this and not specific stratigems. Also, where is our 95% fire resistance armor? Who actually uses the arc armor? I need those numbers. 😂

Standard breaker will kill them faster and has range

Incendiary has range as well. It has a higher ammo mag so you're not wasting stronger ammo on smaller targets. Damage over time, I've definitely killed more bugs with it than regular breaker. Between the two regular is better for bots though, and personally I can't stand how slow the pray and spray is to turn.
Going against the grain - breaker incendiary is for the small bugs. This gun doesn’t have medium penetration so the bigger bugs absorb the impact and the fire isn’t enough to kill them without using a whole mag or two. The scorcher or dominator is far better paired with a laser dog or shield.
For bot personsly prefer the Dominator, for stagger reason, for bugs shotgun, in various versions, or sickle.
Ok, place your bets... how many patches till they nerf or change this weapon?
Ive actually really been digging the plasma punisher lately.
If you can get over its goofy grazing fire pattern its pretty good for crowd control.
Melts bots and bugs alike.
Just dont point blank with it unless you feel like playing the part of a ragdoll.

Dominator is def s teir
I tend to agree. I love my Dominator. Accurate, staggers almost everything, and in my hands can one shot everything but a Hulk (because I’ve never managed to pull that one off).
All the weapons will hit like airsoft soon enough and people will quit the game because they keep nerfing weapons according to the top tier of players and the ones who play for enjoyment end up screaming at their TV
For bots I agree, too ammo hungry for bugs.

Love the scorcher against bots. Only down side is when a bot gets in in your face. Boom, everyone is dead.
I use scorcher against bots, and while its good, its not what Id consider great. Its only considered great by many because so many other options had gotten nerfed.
Blitzer being c tier is crazy. Best bug weapon imo

On my playstation the scorcher does 200 damage, not 100
It was incorrectly displaying stats that said it did 100 damage and that got fixed.

There is no other primary.
Please take this down as they will nerf this gun just like every other weapon that made the game fun.

Scorcher still S tier, but I do agree that other weapons are underrated on this list
