2 things I love so much about this that I barely see in other anime:
1. Even supporting characters like non hashira demon slayers are fighting to their deaths and doing significant contribution affecting the outcome.
2. The message of just how strong Muzan is that it takes the entire demon slayer corps to be inches away from their deaths just to defeat him.
This is going to be so incredible to see animated. Everyone working together, giving it their absolute all.
This must be turned into movie no way I can watch as just a series.
I think the anime is going to be different than the manga.

@TheGerardo136 I hope they make Nezuko join the final battle against Muzan along with a demonized Tanjiro. And yes, I said it before, and I say it again. I've seen the manga, but I hope they change it and put that in that in the anime. It would be one of the greatest fights in anime history.
@@GabrielMicheal77710 I’ve read the manga too and I’m tired of tanjiro always on the brink of death whenever he fights a demon. It’s overplayed af with demon slayer. And I’m not asking for much I just want tanjiro to hold his own. As essentially the reincarnation of yorichii and the only sun breather. It’s pretty sad how useless they’ve made him. Muzan vs tanjiro was supposed to be monumental but instead tamayo carried that final fight.
Edit: like I wanna see 100% infinite Deku vs overhaul, type of shit. I wanna see tanjiros training pay off but we never saw that 😕
And I agree with you. Nezuko is just as important as tanjiro and they pulled a classic demon slayer move and just put the other main character out of the picture 🤦🏻♂️ I always felt like the ending was meh and do hope they change it in the anime. We’ll see tho.

I think the real nail in the coffin is where the Blue Spider Lily actually was the whole time. It only blooms for a few days in direct sunlight so a demon like Muzan could never even touch it. Plus it grows in the land where Tanjiro’s home was where Yoriichi buried Uta. Oh what delicious irony!

Nope, Yurichi actually used all the twelve from of sun breathing so fast that it looks like just 1 from. You can see it in Muzan's numerous scars.
Yeah but he didn't struggle as much he literally almost killed him the first time they meet and then gave muzan ptsd and tanjiro couldn't kill him oh his own even if he tried at his limits so im just saying my point is that yoriichi is a bad ass

Compared to like 5 hashira's who unlocked the cursed mark, red swords, and see through world all dying to a weaken version of muzan just to buy time.
Yoriichi almost killing muzan in 5 minutes without a scratch is a demon slayer verse breaking feat.
Yorichi was a master swordsman who founded breathing techniques and had a lifetime of experience, Tanjiro had way less experience, and his hinokami kagura is a memorization of Yorichi's techniques passed down for centuries. You're not wrong, but it's such an unfair comparison that it downplays Tanjiro's importance in finally defeating Muzan

I think if Demon Slayer was a little more stretched out to further the characterizations of the Hashiras' relationships with each other it would be one of my favorite battle manga ever.
I love them, but we could have had more instances of them teaming up or having more feats. Definitely needed more of mature Zenitsu.
Maybe even make the time to promote the young slayers to status where they could become young prodigal Hashira themselves (replacing Flame & Sound) similar to the Mist & Stone, it could have added to the stakes, legacy & grandiose of the ending fights.

Bro was fresh when he fought muzan, while sanemi and gyomei already fought and killed kokushibo, tanjiro and giyu fought akaza, inosuke and kanao fought doma, zenitsu killed kaigaku alone
@@cornflakes3071 Actually Genya and Muichiro contributed more in the death of Kokushibo and himself and they died too If Muichiro didn’t turn his blade red then they would have all died when Kokushibo unlocked his true form. But Sanemi had terrible injuries and nearly died many times. Gyomei was also exhausted. Yeah considering that they did good in the final fight.
All slayer contributed to kill muzan. I was little disappointed to see how they just took mitsuri out of the fight so soon.
Scars was still there for 5 centuries, damn PTSD to the next level.

the nichirin color changes based on user. he just picked up a random sword and it turned blue because that's his color.

You skipped alot of details inbetween, like how tanjiro was engulfed by muzan when he inflated into a giant baby and how while inside muzan he gripped his sword with 1 hand only which led go muzan flitching in pain which ultimately made him burn in the sun

Whats more crazy is, that it was that hard to beat a weakend Muzan and almost all Hashira died at the end and many Demon Slayers got killed too. They could have never defeated him if he wasnt drugged.
yeah but remember most hashira's are also not in 100% condition when they fight muzan, they are also from hard battles from uppermoons. only kanroji and obanai are fresh here. but yeah even in fresh condition. a non drugged muzan would anhilate them. that's why he's so confident to go to the ubuyashiki mansion alone, a counter ambush of nakime is plan B if a trap was set to muzan.
This fight shows how hard it was to slay the main villain and how powerful Muzan is.
It took every ounce of intelligence and power to defeat him. Even then, Muzan's defeat was not a guarantee.
An unkillable villain and heroes who have to beat all odds to do the impossible.

It took the entirety of the Demon Slayer Corps, Tamayo and Shinobu with their poisons, the Hashira and the Corps whittling down Muzan's demon forces, even the Kakushi acting as paramedics and support and throwing obstacles in front of Muzan, the Ubuyashiki household sacrificing practically everything, the Kasugai, the lower ranked slayers protecting the Hashira... It was an accumulation of victories that led to the eradication of the Demons.
That's the theme of Demon Slayer - No singular entity, no matter how powerful, is more accomplished than people as a whole working together.

Love how Tanjiro who mastered Sun Breathing was dealing with Muzan alone (with a missing eye) where other Hashiras couldn't do a thing. It shows he really was at Hashira levels of strength at the end.

Those old pillars were idiots for exiling the absolute MONSTER that was Yoriichi. Who knows if he would’ve been able to meet another slayer capable of using sun breathing even if not to the same extent as him. Yoriichi could’ve probably soloed all the pillars and upper moons fighting him at once
