Sanemi is definetly not losing toTanjiro. When you think about it; Muichiro with the mark went against Kokushibo and lasted about 10 seconds. And Sanemi *without the mark* went against Upper Moon 1 Kokushibo and they fought for a while. Again, without the mark! Even Kokushibo was impressed with his skill. So, you need to give him some credit and understand that there is a reason why he is the 2nd strongest Hashira.

If tonjiro was going against mitsuri whipping attacks he can use sun breathing and flow threw all the attacks like what he did to daki and he did that without fail.

You said that the breathing was purely cosmetic and wasn’t real, but there has been multiple occasions where those breaths have taken up space including a time when rengoku used to to block one of akaza’s attacks.

Give rengoku some credit and shinobuo rengoku was able to hold he own against akaza long enough for the sun to come up and tanjiro basically lost against daki and the power gap between daki and akaza is severe meaning tanjiro could lose his power by breathing again like,e when he fought daki and that power was activated when daki injured the people in the town which rengoku did not meaning he could survive against tanjiro

But tanjiro has sun breathing 13th form in stage 3.. and a faint mark, which is stronger than a straight up mark. He can defeat quite a bit of the hashira with 13th form alone.
13th form is just all the 12 forms combined, so it's still technically 12 unique forms

I have to disagree with Sanemi losing. As said in comments before, he was able to go toe to toe with Upper Moon 1. I also remember Tanjiro only being able to make his blade red with the help of Nezuko or Giyu. Might be wrong but thats what I remember.

Demon Tanjiro is featless, giyuu dodged his attacks easily, and inosuke can cut his head but hs doesnt have the urge to do so. The only way dkt tanjiro is winning is if he has reached his demon potential.
You're kidding, right? Demon Tanjiro is somewhere around Muzan's level or above. Muzan put ALL of his blood into Tanjiro meaning he gave Tanjiro ALL of his power. He also uses multiple powers only Muzan can use. In the Manga, it's literally stated "Neither sunlight nor Nichiren blades are effective on Tanjiro, There's no way to kill him!". This is because as Muzan states when they're speed-blitzing him, NONE of the Hasira would have been able to kill a full-power Muzan. This is because their blades are nowhere near hot enough to kill Muzan as he states they tickle in comparison to Yoriichi's. The only reason they don't all instantly die to Demon Tanjiro is that he's holding and having a mental battle in his mind as Muzan tries to corrupt him.
Let's say for your argument that Tanjiro is weaker than Muzan say, Kokushibo. He's still unkillable and can easily beat them by attrition with his powers.

You’re forgetting why tanjiro would win against MITSURI and it is because, when we’re first introduced to sun breathing in the anime in the rui fight/arc tanjuro/ tanjiros dad performs a sun breathing dance move while tanjiros dead mom in his head states “your dad is doing a special move that relys on breathing and concentration while performing that move the user cannot ever get sick or tired.” I’m not sure if I was right on this one please tell me 😅

Give rengoku some credit and shinobuo rengoku was able to hold he own against akaza long enough for the sun to come up and tanjiro basically lost against daki and the power gap between daki and akaza is severe meaning tanjiro could lose his power by breathing again like,e when he fought daki and that power was activated when daki injured the people in the town which rengoku did not meaning he could survive against tanjiro
