Erm, actually 🤓 The video has some inaccuracies. The editing and voiceover are fine, the script I take issue with, however. Despite the title, very little time is dedicated to actually exploring how strong Cirno is (even though unlike with most touhous, we actually have a lot of references for her in that regard, despite how pointless and unreliable touhou powerscaling can be), in favor of a rushed wiki summary, (i've noticed some things even directly taken word for word from it, such as her appareance description, a lazy tactic in my opinion, especially since the wiki itself contains countless inaccuracies despite being a great resource). The topic is not done justice here, it is barely present in the form of stating some very basic and general facts about her power, with no analysis nor any conclusion. The pick at the end, which was the goal this video was supposed to be centered around (judging by the title), is given no arguments supporting it, very little thought and almost feels random. I also believe it was unnecesary for such a short video to spend entire 20 seconds of the video listing every single game she stars in, as well as 10 seconds describing her appearance. The jokes could be improved, but comedy is not something I exceel at so I'm not one to judge that. Since I never wrote a video script, and I'd still like to offer some critique and things that could be improved instead of baseless bashing, I'll give an example of a video of similar topic done better, in my opinion. "2hu Bites: Fairies" by Megafrog. It's straight to the point (avoids needles long descriptions), offers a lot of comedic value, delves into other sources such as the manga, as well as being informative and entertaining even to people who already know at least the basics of touhou (which are very likely the majority of people who would watch your video). "she's quite smart compared to other fairies" (0:12) - Could I have any examples supporting this claim? I've heard it many times, yet I never came to this conclusion while browsing official works. We never see her outsmart another fairy or do anything impressive in that regard, she's even considered an idiot by her fairy peers [e.g. HSiFS Cirno's ending, VFiS chapter 15 page 10] and gets regularly outsmarted by fairies of light in GFW and the manga [e.g VFiS chapter 2 page 21], who, let's be honest, aren't the brightest either. As for random fairies, too little information is given about them to come to any solid conclusion in that regard. The fairies I *would* consider "quite smart compared to other fairies" are Star and Larva. "She's able to freeze bullets and small things quickly, however, it takes longer for big things" (1:25) Source for this? I've never heard that claim before Also, I believe she shouldn't be in the "regular fairy" tier. Yeah, she's not that strong (I actually take issue with people who claim she's ACTUALLY strong and smart and the fandom is just slandering her, she's not), but she's clearly stated to be stronger than regular fairies, regular humans even. Here are some examples to support my claim: She beats all three fairies of light at once in GFW (who are no joke among fairies themselves, use spellcards, even the "fairies gather around strong youkai during incidents" effect applies to them [cirno takes notice of this in GFW dialogue], Sunny was able to impres Yukari [SaBNE, one of last chapters]) the same effect applies to her in EoSD, she impresses both Marisa and Okina with her fighting prowess [GFW extra, HSiFS], chooses to go around fighting others rather than to prank others, unlike other fairies (evidenced by GFW, the amount of times she shows up as a midboss and a rather poor quality of her pranks), etc. I'd put her in weak youkai personally. If I got anything wrong i'm open to corrections :) Yeah, I did spend way too much time thinking about this character. She's one of my favorites. I try to be as unbiased as I can be, however.
Disagree, Flandre is way more overrated. Edit: Also Koakuma and Daiyousei. These two are basically collective fandom oc's. They have no name, no dialogue lines, no character, barely any appearances, and yet they're still more loved and talked about than many actually relevant characters (eg. Kanako, Mamizou, Tewi, manga protagonists). At least Daiyousei has a consistent fanon personality, which Koakuma lacks; everyone just makes up their own version.
