The Toyota Corolla Altis hybrid is the most fuel-efficient car we've ever reviewed. How does 25.6 km/l in the city and 20.2 km/l in the highway sound? Conservative and pragmatic it may be, there's no denying how fuel-efficient and comfortable this car is.

Nice review, comprehensive and not boring. And I have the same thoughts, it's always the V variant if you're considering a Corolla. Hybrid is a very much welcome addition too. The chunky CRT TV-like touchscreen ruins the interior aesthetic though.

How’s the electric motor to combustion engine transition? How noticeable/smooth?
Good question. I did forget to mention this in the video review, though I added it in the written version. It’s actually pretty seamless when it’s already in motion, but if the vehicle is stopped, there’s a slight pedal vibration when the engine kicks in.

Not at all. As a matter of fact, dahil sa electric motors niya, yung response niya when overtaking is more instantaneous than the equivalent non-hybrid Corollas.

Matagal ko ng gustong gusto tong altis, pinipilit ko nga mga kapatid ko na eto na lang bilhin for first family car kahit yung manual variant basta altis, eto talaga saka yung Mazda 2 at Mazda 3, yung pinakawant ko, ang gusto kasi nila ay Hilux o Navara,
