    Thin people who stay thin can have a very consistent anchor. People who go up and down w/ their body fat might need to make windage adjustments. If you get swelling in your face or hand you might have troubles. Yes mush your tab too your jaw as much as you can and get the strind mark running up your chin and nose.

    I'm someone who's bottom jaw is in front of my top jaw as well as a wide face, so if I were try and have my string touch the tip of my nose and then somewhere in between the front/side of my chin, then I can't comfortably have a standard anchor. I have a shelf on my finger tab which helps somewhat but it's much better for me than using my finger bone to place on my face. I'm currently in the process of finding a good anchor and remembering where it will be.

    Hey Ashe
    Do you think that having a muscular and thick neck can negatively impact one's anchor?
    A response would be highly appreciated.

      @@mortenjacobsen5673 It never came to me that I could anchor with the index finger higher up and on side of the chin. I've had inconsistency issues with it under the chin. Too early to say that I will improve but my anchor certainly feels stronger now.

When i started quality info was hard to come by and the word archery program is Basic and far behind, kisik Lee inside the archer will take you along way if you read it, but it requires some additonal explaing so I had to apply and test some own hypothesis and debate them among the reputable youtubes.

    Excellent review of various top class archers. Pl tell me whether I can take the string too for aiming , so that the string, sight and the target be in a single line to minimise deflection of arrow. Pl highlight in your next video.

    • @mortenjacobsen5673
      @mortenjacobsen5673 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You cant, the string travers foward at an angle that creates the flex (euler equation) and this force transfers to the plunger by newton 3rd law, sp your alignment is a virtual pytagoras triangel so the string will be some where along the hypotenus (in alagoric principle) so if the aim at target is fixed and your teknuiqe (alignment 'stance anchor ) is consistant
      The string should also be at the same location, Unless... You twist your wrist or tourqe the string with the fingers to adjust the string picture where its then recomended to line up the string right of the pin appeture. But then you have tuning to considered, aim" after tune or tune to teknuiqe where your string picture end up where it does as teknuiqe deside how you tune aim and align. Since the tune ia overruled by variation in teknuiqes its more logical to go for string picture by alignment. The pin and string are after all x factors sliding along the hypotenus depending of how you move the bow arm and the draw elbow. "The only straight line in archery is the shooting line" 😉

    Lee Woo-seok has a shelf under the thumb :) its red and clearly there.

    • @mortenjacobsen5673
      @mortenjacobsen5673 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you have an anchor plate it distribute the pressure on the hand bones, and if you keep your thumb in the same place it does not realy matter as its the base of the thumb joint that provides the bob, and since the anchor is suposed to be snugg the pressure on the thumb will keep it in place, and for controll you can move the thumb while at anchor and feel the shift in the entire anchor struktur as it pivots. Without an anchor plate, your bones in the hand will stil distribuert the load and stress if you allow the fingers to hold the stress with grip strenght tennssion /aka not pulling grip tourqe the string. So then as you draw the tennssion distributes (draw load =lbs) and becomes isometrisk like wires on a draw bridge, so plate or shelf dont matter, unless you want more mass for greater inhertia.
