Are those slick tires any good on dirt or snow. I have a three fat tire bikes, one of them is a Redline still with the original tires. I don't know who makes the tires,they don't have a name on them,but they're by far the best Fat tires I've ever used. They're made of a soft compound and have no knobbies at all, just a waffle pattern instead. They're better in the snow and the mud than the ones that have Nobbies. I wish I good scoremore. I'm having issues finding good fat tires. The Maxxis look nice but, probably prone to getting Flats.
Has Vee gone out of business? I have tried to get in touch with three different e-mails for them and they come back that they don't exist. I had the bead blow out in a few miles and now the replacement is doing the same thing, and the entire tire is wabbling. Maximum pressure is 20 psi.
I run specialized ground control 120tpi pretty good in snow in nyc blizzard. Run those on 26x4 & 20x4. Still get flats now and then but I double lined my tires wit old tires side wall cut out. Saved a carpenter nail once. Punchured first layer stopped at second no flat wit a 4” screw sticking out.¿~_*•
@@rahi7339 I wanted to try that vee apache tire since it had like 120tpi higher tpi higher Punchure resistance. I’m running tannus armour on my fat tire. Also avoid bike lane as much as possible since nyc sanitation run thru it and leave broken bottles all over. Caught 3 flats in 1 week running bike lane never again. Middle of street usually opposite direction. Be safe out there got my bike stolen 3x’s
I saw the exact same tires on Walmart website but they were called " junior " os there a difference? It says 20x4 fat tire, any advice would help, thank you
1. Which offers better traction for mostly road performance, but also some gravel roads, SPEEDSTER or E-HUNTSMAN? 2. Are the huntsman much louder than the speedsters on the road? 3. Does the extra 1 lbs tire weight difference on the huntsman vs speedster alter the bikes acceleration and/or top speed?
I have the kenda on my fat tyre 20 inch x 4 inch and the handling of the bike is appalling i wonder if anyone feels the road tyre slicks improve handling at all. Thanks guys

I just installed bee speedsters and I have a wobble in my rear tire. Do I have to over inflate a bunch to get it seated evenly on the bead? I’ve used dish soap and deflated and reinflated a bunch
My rear speedster just developed the same problem as well as my second bead failure. It shakes the entire bike. I contacted Peter at Vee tire for a replacement. Previously, the bead blew out on a tire during my second ride on them. They did replace that one.

Hi, would the plus size speedster in 26in (26in x 2.8) be able to fit on a blocks flyer? Or would I be better of getting Maxxis Hookworms? Sorry for the question i just wanna know if that tire could fit.
@@urbancargobikes4930 Well but how many could you have gotten?I put slime in mine I got 6 flats at one time riding in Home Depot parking lot 2 screws a nail and 3 pieces of wire pulled them out on put air in the tire and I'm still riding😂

I use Mohegia tires which have the same pattern as the Vee tires. They're holding up well after 850km.

They make fat tires with studs in them for snow.
thinking of buying a pair too. the one im aiming at is veroli uno 26x4. very cheap here. it fit the waffle pattern as you describe.

That's awesome. First hand testimony to how to cheaply but super effectively add more puncture resistance!
I live in nyc too, you have li k to which tire you use? Currently I have kenda and vee 20x4 tire for my ebike

Look at the maxxis tires for snow.
How many tpi this V version has?
Install Grip Studs on those Kenda’s with low psi. and you’re good to go.

I don’t think anybody can run 20psi…they literally don’t air up.
Kenda's suck...Try the HEB 20x4. Great tread and hold up much longer than the Kenda tires.
