    You're gonna love it. I've got a G20 that I bought brand new back in 1991 and have topped 75,000 rounds through it. Wouldn't sell it for anything.

    My Daughter bought me a Gen 4 Glock 20 last January, bless her heart, and I love it ! I am a big bore revolver fan owning .44 mags, .454 casulls, and two .500 S & W, but ya know- For outdoor protection here in Idaho, when that TWIG snaps out in the dark when we are around the campfire there is a good feeling having a powerful 15 shot pistol in my holster. A .400 dia. 200 gr. Hardcast moving out @ 1250 fps has incredible penetration and rapid follow up shots with the Glock 20 are much faster than from any of my big bore revolvers. I REALLY like this one!

    I Love the Gen 4 Grip VS the Gen 3 glad they kept the short frame grip because the regular grip that was on the Gen 3's before they released the SF models were very bulky.

I also tested 15 boxes of the hard cast and had too many malfunctions to feel super confident in them. Love the G20 more than anything though.

    I tell you what I hated Glock at one time. Over 20 years I have to admit they have taken my heart over. Knock on wood 🪵 Out 10 Glocks and counting I have never had one jam . I call it the AK-47 of pistols . No matter what I put through any of my Glocks it gobbles it up whether it be brass, zinc ,aluminum, Steel it will eat it up. • @kstofkos
      @kstofkos  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's a tough call. They are 2 totally different guns. The glock feels cheap, the Rock Island feels good but has less capacity. One is made of all steel the other is mostly plastic.
      There are Pros and Cons to both I guess. But in the same token, they are both reliable and in my case both will shoot 40 cal with no issues if you choose to do so.
      I actually sold my Rock Island and kept the glock, but that is because I already had other 1911 platforms and because I got a better selling price for it than I would have with the glock. Yes, the mighty Golck did not retain as much value when it came time to sell one of them.

    Great video. Kyle, you've got a good taste in guns, similar to mine. All hardcore hand cannons. No 9mm toy bs lol. Just serious calibers like 10mm, .44 and .454. I love that. Btw, i bought G20 gen4 myself not long ago. A great gun. The only thing that bothers me is the pignose (google it if you don't know what is it 😅) and huge gap between the frame and slide. I can stick 2 credit cards in it. But i was told it's normal when it comes to powerful glocks like 10mm and .45., so i leave it be. I only saw this huge gap in G20 and G21. No 9mm glock i ever saw had that gap. But it shoots great, it eats any ammo i feed it without any F2F. Cheers 👍

      @@kstofkos no problem. Just one more thing, if you ever find that tiny stock slide stop/release to be too hard to release the slide on new magazine, just order an extended slide stop. I did it and it makes wonders. Like night and day. It's cheap, aprox 10 $ and two minutes of work. The original one is too small and just too stiff to operate smoothly. Especially if you have huge hands and big fingers like myself.

    • @kstofkos
      @kstofkos  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Out of all the pistol calibers I own. 9mm is my least favorite. Most of them are ehhhh at most. That's why you don't really see them on my channel. When I go to make a video I head to my gun room and think, what would someone want to see... then I make my choice. I should probably make more 9mm videos because that's what a lot of people like. Not many people like the larger calibers like we do. Heck, I even prefer 38 over 9mm. Lol. I really appreciate your comments and I hope to hear from you on more videos I post.

      @@BADD1ONE it really is a shame when you buy a certain model gun and you have to put money into it just to get it to run like you want it to. When you get it finished, let me know how it runs and if the upgrades were worth the price.
      Funny thing, my Rock Island 10mm was the cheapest of the 3 10mms that I have and I couldn't have asked for a better functioning gun right out ofthe box regardless of caliber. My Smith 10mm has a crappy trigger and my glock has too many cosmetic issues for the price and reputation.

    Exactly why are you doing videos? Never held a Glock - your opinion is 1000% worthless -- (if you don't know this) maybe the MOST important consideration in shooting is to have a pistol or revolver that "FITS" you hand. Accuracy is the most important part of shooting - you only EVER want to hit what you're shooting at, and nothing else - even Paul Harrell has trouble when the gun does not fit his hand. BAD IDEA.
