    Exercise (specifically squats): Stimulates blood flow to the hippocampus, which is responsible for memory and learning.
    Take breaks: Allows your brain to rest and digest what you have learned.
    Sleep: Essential for moving information from short-term to long-term memory.
    Believe in yourself: A positive mindset can improve learning outcomes.
    Beware of the internet: Not all online information is accurate

    1. Exercise, especially thigh squats. 2. Take breaks during the learning process. 3. Get plenty of sleep, even a short nap helps. 4. Belief in your ability to learn. Those who did believe in themselves learned quickly, those who didnt have self belief did worst. 5. solve problems.
    My addition - learn to look for patterns and then see the relatedness between patterns. REalise the levels of knowledge.
    Level one. someone told you, and you have no idea of the source. This is the commonest and worst
    Level two. Someone tells you, and you c heck that the source is valid and probably sensible and honest.
    Level three. you find out for yourselves by doing. If someone tells you dropping a stone in a pool of water causes waves in the water, you go do it for yourselves .Where possible of course.
    Top level, Understanding. You learn all the contributory causes, all the interlinking factors and their effects on each other and know every single aspect and reason for the topic you are learning.

      I second this take. Also, for levels one and two, the people you're asking may have envy, jealousy, or just gatekeeping information. This would lead to half thoughtout answers such as "just use oil for cooking!" without specifying which oil; this is likely to keep you confused or even discourage you from going further.
      Keep in mind that most people tend to associate asking questions with being dumb. Try your best to ignore it, or stop for awhile and ask our good friend ChatGPT.

    Squats? Hmmm, at 70 ,I am not sure my joints will allow much if any of that. But if I can do any then repeating and adding how many will I can, may improve my ability to do them. Just need to continue that as many years as I can. I do no exercise at all now. Unless you count random slightly hefty work around the house. Even then, if I strain very much , my joints inflame and cause pain for several days. Only if I really pushed myself a bit too long. My sleep is 5 to 7 hours a night and one 1 hour nap each day.

      you can simply put your back straight against a wall and slowly squat to position and hold your bodyweight for 30 seconds only with the strength of your legs
      repeat as if you are doing a set, this should make a fine substitute for squats

      Movement is what facilitates learning (among many other things), not squats specifically. Since you say you don't exercise - you should look into integrating some activity into your day, especially general movement. No need to beat up your joints on the basis of what some random dude on the internet who couldn't have been much more vague on this point told you. There are many lighter alternatives for exercise.

    squats? bullcrap. you may as well say rowing, running, or anything else. If it's about blood flow, then handstands are better than squats

    Squat is a great exercise but how to do it to improve memory? Light weights higher sets or the opposite?

      My guess is very light weights, deep squat and several times a day. Not for muscle building but to just get blood flowing. This advice is for otherwise sedentary people.

      Do squats that you like. But not super light. Challenge yourself
      Because it will be more fun, so you will do it more often and actually stick to it

    Thanks to my primary school days teachers in 1980s that punishes the students by doing squats while holding both ear lobes crossed arms, that probably made me smarter 😂
