TIP: if you do this and the belt he listed is too short, You need the 4060970 belt it’s about a third of an inch longer. I had to go up a size to this size belt because it would not fit it was too tight. I would suggest buying the belt he listed and also buying the one I just mentioned and then just return the one that doesn’t fit, but this worked out perfectly takeoff the pulley off the smog pump and takeoff the idler pulley and put this belt on and good to go!

Did you cap the lines at the top or just cut them? I’ve seen one video where the guy loops them together. Had the smog pump seize up on me hauling 1.5 tons of material. Just wanna see if I can just throw it all out at once or if I gotta cap or loop the hoses at the top of the motor. Thank you.

You can just cut them off or cap them, it isn’t gonna make a difference once the smog pump is gone. I deleted all that garbage off of my trucks. Egr delete and cat delete. You might be able to just take the pulley off the front of it and leave the pump up there

Do you have California emissions ? The only trucks to my knowledge that have the hoses over the valve covers are the California emissions trucks.
