I got embarrassed because I didn´t know about Muzio Clement until now, with this vid! It made my day! Thanks a lot for bringing this quality sound to me!
It is very instructive to ask why such a significant and important piano advocate and composer is today only known because beginning piano players get to thoroughly enjoy his sonatinas (or etudes).
I saw Muzio Clementi's grave at Westminster Abbey last Christmas. His tombstone says "Father of the pianoforte, who introduced Haydn to London". What a wonderful epitaph! He should be better known. He taught John Field, a favorite of mine, and Field was a great piano teacher too, based for many years in St. Petersburg. Field invented the Nocturne and had enormous influence on Chopin.
hello? This is Lee Jung-min. I like the piano, and this TH-cam channel is 432HZ frequency music! Usually 440-442 is the standard! But when I listen to 432HZ music, I'm a bit old-fashioned and classical, yes! By the way, what piano was this recorded on? If you ask me why, after I listened to music at that frequency, I gave my tuner various reasons to lower the frequency to 432HZ on my piano directly. What I want to ask you is because you said that you do not tune like that, and that only very old pianos are tuned in that way. I would like to get an answer to the person who uploaded this TH-cam about how he played the piano at a lower frequency! In fact, even in concert halls like the Seoul Arts Center, I am asking because they say they do not use 432 at all. Even though this TH-cam is a modern piano, why doesn't the sound shake even though I played it at 432HZ?! Because when I listen to that frequency music, I really like that classical feel!
But it isn't a "modern" piano. It isn't really played on a piano at all, really. It's played on a *fortepiano* , the predecessor to the modern piano. (Specifically a 1798 Kirckman a'=430 HZ)

Thank you very much!
So here’s where Chopin learned piano… 👀👀👀
Wich piano he uses ?
It's a Kirckman, 1798 (Collection Edwin Beunk, Enschede) a’ = 430 Hz
@@BrilliantClassics Thank you!!👍

Clementi sounds so tasteless compared to Mozart most of the time.
