I think that beef and blue cheese / gorgonzola are a match made in heaven. I imagine the Asiago took it over the top. For garlic bread, sometime try mixing a small blob of mayonnaise with softened butter, Parmesan and garlic. A thin spread of that on good bread & toasted is awesome. Now I am hungry! Nicely done.
Hey Neil, you should always cook your steak whole and then let it rest. That way it’s seared all over you can cook it the way you like it, like rare or medium rare and then once it’s rested, you can cut it into bite-size pieces put it back on the griddle and make your butter sauce for it.
MAN, that looks so amazing. When you moved the gnocchi into the steak juice and seasoning, that just took it to the next floor. Wow! I have been trying to figure out what to do with this same gnocchi i have in the pantry. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
I agree, the greatness comes in the details of this dish. From the roasted garlic to the browning of the steak and gnocchi, and combination of cheeses... this just looks fantastic👍😊
Ohhhhhhhh myyyyy gawwwwwwwwwd, my wife an i WILL BE making this! This looked FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!! I`ll have to replace my keyboard now... my keyboard has drowned in drool watching you guys make this. AMY, my wife wants you to do some more videos cooking on the flat-top!
Gives me a couple ideas for the packaged potato gnocchi that I got. Love the idea of the cheese sauce without being a total sauce. But I absolutely gotta say I love toasted gnocchi, just little pockets of potatoey goodness.
i love how northerners always have something to say about the way southerners pronounce something 😂😂😂... we call it damn good food.. great vid guys and keep them coming 👍👍👍
I agree wholeheartedly that this is one of your very best! Those are most of my favorite foods and flavors in one dish (slathered over the garlic bread hopefully). Fantastic
When I read the description, I DID NOT expect this result! Wow, dang that looks so good I'm going to have to sneak it into an upcoming meal :) Outstanding!!
The combinations add to the flavor of each main ingredient, another well done recipe that makes the griddle the best way to crank out great meals, this time with steak bites. Thanks !!
That sure looked good Neil and Amy and from the sounds it hit the spot. Even your critic said it could pass the test. MUST BE GOOD !! Thanks for sharing the recipe and how to grill it. Stay safe and keep up the fun around there. Fred.
I cannot wait to make this, Neal! The flavor profile you built with each step looks amazing. Love the fact that you use Ninja pans on the flat top. Love those things!
Gosh, that garlic looked so good. I could have eaten it like that. I simply loved the whole dish. I even thought about leaving the steak and mushrooms in one bowl and doing some broccoli to mix with the gnocchi, but I love broccoli. Now the kicker is the cheeses. I remember watching one of your videos and you used pepper Jack. I had never tried it. someone gave us a cheese basket for Christmas and a block of pepper jack was in it. When I tried it I was like Wow, I have been missing out. Now when you talk about the cheeses I am all ears. Great Job! But it is still not a turkey sandwich is the same thing my youngest son would say. Go figure!
I’m always amazed at the recipes you come with and this one is outstanding! You’re definitely right Neal….the details make the difference! That’s a winner for sure! Cheers buddy!
👍👍 This would be great with most any protein and like always, you can change things up to a person's liking. But definitely have to treat the different proteins differently. I noticed you cooking the mushrooms. A definite difference then typical sautéing. We were just at Olive Garden and the entrée I had, had the same texture cooked mushrooms in it and was great. As I was tasting the mushrooms I was thinking, definitely not sautéed but ought to be great on my Flat Top Grill and here you just did it... Awesome ❤
Absolutely delicious Neal. All that looked amazing. Your daughter doesn't like it, I'm sorry for her. I have kids like that too. I'll cook up big burgers or whatever on the grill and they'll go to burger King or McDonald's. Totally missing out on the real stuff. Great video brother 👍
Never had gnocchi with steak, but, try the Rana skillet gnocchi maybe a bit different recipe that is delicious, love them fried in butter.... Crunchy outside soft inside....
OK....I've been looking for a special dish to make for some friends and I think I've found it. I'm going to also do some bacon wrapped green beans on the griddle as a side dish. Probably pair with a big Cab or an Italian red. Maybe finish with a Key Lime pie or Lemon cello based dessert..
Great cook ! Just the steak bites & mushrooms on one of the buns with the sauce over the top would be good tooooo ! How about your version of the "garbage plate" ??
@@TheFlatTopKing well , after seeing one version on the "tube" , I used mini Tater Tots , then a layer of crumbled ground beef , then a layer of store bought ready made cold macaroni salad , topped with Classico meat sauce . There are different versions as to what style potatoes , meat , mac salad and meat sauce . Putting cold mac salad on layers of hot stuff bothered me , but it was dang good . Thanks
Loved it! Never heard of Gnocchi before, but you both made this look so delicious. Thank you and your wife for the video. You guys rock, and damn if kids don't say the darndest things. LOL, that was truly funny. Keep up the good work and as always, Air Force Rules.
Pronounced more like "knocky," less like "no key!" Neil lol. I learned it more like "knee oc E". Guess Amy let that one slide! j/k. Never imagined how this would pair.... Looks Mmmmm! Love this channel, you guys rock! Great stuff!
Another good video guys ,on top of the cookbook you should put together you should make some DVD s to sell you could be the 20 first century version of Julia child's lol THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA.....
i actually watched it....i was screaming to Amy......hopefully people think im am not biased or crazy for my thoughts after someone else had similar experiences...

Wow, I think that is way better than a Turkey sandwich....lol
Finally had a chance to make this tonight. Excellent! I felt like a DJ spinning wheels of steel trying to do it all at the same time, but worth it.
hahahha like anything....once you make it ...it gets easier....than other recipes will get easier
MAN, that looks so amazing. When you moved the gnocchi into the steak juice and seasoning, that just took it to the next floor. Wow! I have been trying to figure out what to do with this same gnocchi i have in the pantry. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

Wonder if you could do the garlic in the air fryer attachment on the griddle if you have that feature.
Always good content!! It's unfortunate I can't buy your seasoning in Canada. I'd like to support. Keep up the good work.

I do not....
