The funny part is that to any kid that grew up playing this game we learned all of the best options pretty quickly. Only those young whippersnappers that never actually used an Apple II don't know these settings. Love seeing this game run though. I miss it.
I played a run doing everything she did. I was going along great until the Green River where my ferry tipped over losing most of my food, half my clothes and oxen, and all my spare parts. With hunting and resting, I got there on August 12, 1848.
This run was great. The puns were great. But what was not great was not knowing what the names of the intermission music tracks were, cos all those songs were also great. Help please?
Just figured out that the first song is from the previous game, Roundabout. Research reveals that the rest of the tunes might be from other games in the event. I'd help more, but sleep is calling.
I'm going back through years of GDQ videos, and it's nice to finally see a woman playing, I hope more women make names for themselves in the speedrunning community.
id recommend playing it, its a management game where you manage your crew and money. your goal is to reach oregon by wagon and hopefully not die of disease
"Dysentery? Must be all those runs."
Your puns are strong, Sky.
Your *speedpuns are strong, Sky. ;)
20:07 - "There's a oxen. There's a burger right there." 20:27 - "SMW Crew has dysentery. Must be all those runs." That gets me every time.
