Hello Smith, very interesting video as usual. We don't have any German bunkers in South Florida. When I was a child I used to play on a large artillery piece that was mounted on the shore at the American Legion Post in Biscayne Bay. We would operate the wheel to change the elevation of the barrel or move it to point North or South. It's amazing to think government had these little guns up and down the coast to protect from an invasion but I think it was psychological. We did have Germans torpedo tankers off Miami at nighttime. We had a German prisoner of war camp at Bal Harbour on Miami Beach at the north end. Now it's one of the more exclusive and expensive residential areas in the entire country. As far as the current situation goes I have neighbors and friends who are Ukrainian and I have worked with very wonderful people from Russia and I want nothing but the best for both of them. It makes me bitter that after all of the sacrifices of the Cold War when we had an opportunity for peace which almost everybody wants it seems to have been squandered and we seem to have no leaders anywhere trying to bring peace or to have prevented the current situation. The level of disdain I have for my government is hard to express. I don't feel that I live in the same country anymore. However, it is an ill wind that blows nobody good. I have been thinking a lot about what is really important to me and to my life and have been spending a lot more time focusing on them and I feel in some ways happier than I have been in a very long time. I think the next two years there may be a lot of civil unrest. I am going to be working extra hard on my internal peace. Because frankly I'm tired of everybody and everything always trying to scare us to death. I'm looking forward to doing a lot more fishing and sailing Smith. I hope to see you out there friend.

The concrete they used was astounding. It has held up very well.

Welcome to windy Denmark. Yea, history repeats itself. I think we have about 6000 bunkers in DK alone.
