    a clean, heat-sterilized glass vessel w/a lid
vinegar of your choice plus equal parts filtered water
salt & pepper plus whatever spices/herbs you wish to add
a clean pot in which to boil the brine

@@JenniferMyers Hi, Jennifer, I watched one of your videos last year where you talk about beauty that comes from within and that is with mental peace(meditation) and the food that we eat.

I cut down on sugar and following your tips with Tretinoin that I've been following - My skin is glowing !!!

The grief of losing a mother is forever. We should start embracing the fact that a mortal body has to go someday, we would too but it's the values, the morals, the principles, the love, it just gives us the courage to life further.

Pickling with vinegar has actually been proven to be cancerous in the long run. The main leading indication of the disproportionate amount of stomach cancer emerging in Japanese populations, are linked to eating pickled foods. Fermented foods are different, as in sauerkraut, cabbage like kimchi, that does not require vinegar but natural bacteria. There is a huge difference between the two.

She’s right! But it doesn’t only work with radishes. Most vegetables that are grown underground you can keep them fresh for a long time if you wrap them in a damp paper towel in a container or zip lock.
Bulb vegetables like carrots, beets, kohlrabi, radishes.. etc can last longer. Because they love water.
Every winter when I grow carrots and beets and radishes that’s what I do. And they last me a really long time. They stay hard and fresh. 😊

Hello Jennifer! Do radish protect against cancer or diabetes? I love them and need to eat them daily. :)

    • @JenniferMyers
      @JenniferMyers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

They protect against both! Consuming radish enhances your body's natural adiponectin production. Higher levels of that particular hormone acts as a protection against insulin resistance (the root cause of type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome in general). Radishes also contain coenzyme Q10, an antioxidant that helps block the formation of diabetes. They are a widely-established anti-cancerous food, too. And they're delicious, crunchy & spicy. They are one of my favorite vegetables.

I am definitely gonna try this recipe😍 l have a question though, I started using 0.025% tretinoin gel about 15 days ago ...first few days in alternative days and now daily with lotion based moisturizer for acne treatment, acne scars, anti aging and i am 22 years old. I don't have any irritation and peeling or anything like that. Should i apply it daily still then or use twice or thrice a week?

Wow!!! Thank you, Jennifer! I wanted to make pickle raddish for so long, but i don't have those big white ones. But this red little one I do have!!!! And the seasoning seems very accessible to! I'll do it! Thank you so much! I'm so excited 😆

Hello! I wonder what brand of tretinoin you use? I live in Sweden and here it seems like I could only get it with prescription. And I also would like to know what is the difference between retinoin and retinol? Best regards Tina

Sorry I don’t know if you mentioned it already, but how do you sterilize your jars?

Your knife skills are pour. Any time you cut round object, after the first slice the flat side goes on the cutting board for stable cutting.

this may be a silly question, but is it still pickled if you just use regular salt? what is the use for pickling salt, what’s the difference ?

    Hey Jennifer!
You have spoken about creating a diet that is right for you. I know the benefits of healthy eating and how good it makes my body feel, but I want to create a specific plan of what to eat.
I am 17 and don't know much about nutrition. I know what basic foods are good and bad for me, but I don't know exactly how food should be protein, carbs, or fats.
Do you have any advice on nutrition and finding a diet specific to me?
PS, if you have any videos that already address this, please refer me to those. I only found your channel today!
