She only says "dollop" one or two times. The other times she is saying "dot." Regardless, when someone takes the time to post a video to teach others a skill, it just seems inappropriate to criticize minor things in the video that have nothing to do with the actual tutorial. If I had posted this video, it would have discouraged me to post others if I read these comments. I don't mean to be negative but I just think it's unnecessary and kind of mean.
I was thinking the same thing! People are so quick to pick everything apart, when they should appreciate the tutorial and move on.

Sure! For a baby bow, you can make a single bow and use smaller size ribbons, 1" wide or smaller for the largest ribbon piece and an extra small hair clip or alligator clip and you'll have a really cute baby bow. I can do a tutorial on making mini bows too. :)

This is an EXCELLENT tutorial. You wasted no time getting right down to business. I do, however, wish you would have continued on to show us one more time how you made the second larger piece to the bow. Of course, one can always go back and replay it. This is the most clear and easiest sew-free bow tutorial! The result is still perky and very very secure for a bow that won't come apart!. Thanks for making this video! I just made this bow for my luggage tag but added a rhinestone to the center. Doing this for my other two in the set! :)

You can use a hair tie just aswell, just loop it through the center tie when your wrapping it up :)

That is a lot of glue, if that kind of bow is wore here in Arizona it would come undone, or maybe accidentally left in the car. But it is super easy and great for a beginner. Though I do recommend sewing it for a more durable wear. You video is super easy to follow and you don't stumble on your words or forget what you are going to say or just ramble pointlessly..........You are Awesome at making videos! and yes i have watched a lot of videos...lol!

Just a question since I'm gonna start making and selling hairbows soon; Is hot glue reliable? I've heard that it eventually falls off, I just want to sell something that will be as sturdy as possible.
E3000 hobby glue works well and is even washable. Only thing, it doesn't try as fast as hot glue. I use bobby pins to hold stuff in place while it dries

it works i have my own small shop and all my bows are done out of ribbon and hot glue only
My sister and I make bows and we sell them at my Aunts store and when use ribbon and hot glue and it works very good (I'm 12 my sister is 13)

You can use glue instead, at least that´s what I do :)
The heat seal just keeps the bow from kind of shredding when it is being handled so yeah it kind of does matter a bit 💛
