Why are you using two strips of ribbon instead of one? Is it for thickness?

We use two for a couple of reasons: thickness and substance for the bow and also to show that you can line a bow with a second strip of ribbon. You can very easily use a printed ribbon from Ribbon and Bows Oh My and then line with a corresponding solid color for a more luxurious and more-complete looking bow. Hope that helps!
