All Southerners know to keep their candles, lighters/matches & flashlights in the same place so you'll know where to go when the lights go out. I'm a fellow Southerner and I know how those thunderstorms can be. I actually just got back to my home state after being in Texas through those 2 Winter storms that hit back to back. It was a frozen hell, but I've never seen so many people from many different backgrounds come together & help each other out. It was very refreshing. Cold. But refreshing. Thanks for sharing your bow making video. It's a huge help. My daughter is getting married next year and I have a feeling I'll be making a lot of bows since a lot of our decorating is going to be DIY. Thanks again!

I just came back from your neck of the woods. It is beautiful up there. The thunderstorms were almost like clockwork every afternoon and evening. We still had a wonderful vacation in spite of the storms.

I just want to seriously say thank you sooooo so much for this. I was trying to make a bow with glitter ribbon and I watched like 800 videos but none of them worked because of the glitter. This worked perfectly and I even did it with 7/8 in ribbon i just doubled up. Appreciate the time you took to make this ALOT!

Yes, it is rather old method. My grandmother used to make them out of strips of fabric in this manner.

Bow tie is adorable. West Tennessee has been getting a lot of lightning but not any rain. I live in the flat part of the state and the lightning has struck trees down. We have been lucky and none of ours have been hit. We have a canopy of trees over our house so we have a lot of shade.

Ty miss lady!! The clothes pin yes I could do everything but when it always came time to hold that in the middle and then put the tie around it I would lose the shape and I couldn't wrap my tie around it tightly thank you so much this Southern girl can make a bow now

I love how simple this is. I was just thinking about how many bows you could make out 2 rolls of ribbon versus buying them pre-made on a piece of cardboard from the store.
