I now have the Zhu-Ran Bamboo and the finish is exceptional the only let down is the arrow pass icon wears out fast but like your bow it is easily remedied My main attraction initially was the 37" draw . However since using it I have come to love it so much My Previous bow was an Alibow Tang-Durang (Beautiful) which exploded probably due to my long draw (overstressing the bow) Notwithstanding this the Durang was a lovely bow and well worth buying served me well for a number of years Both bows are exceptional quality Alibow produce some wild 36" carbon arrows
Vielen lieben Dank, Reinhold! ☺️🙏🙏 Das freut mich! Ja, die Qualität bei Alibow ist seht zuverlässig sehr gut! Ich wünsche auch weiterhin viel Freude mit Deinen Bögen! 🏹🔆
Great! Thank you! It would be awesome if you would write some basic information in the discription box too . Like what bows were used, what poundages and what arrows and arrow spines. What do you think?
Thanks for this! Can you suggest other long draw bows? Preferable with a draw length of minimum 34", while the bow being less than 170 cm when strung. :) PS I'm a newbie.
Thank you so much, dear Stefan! ☺️🙏 Spontaneously, the Zhu Ran strikes my mind with 37” max draw length, which you have seen already. The Végh Chinese Bow Hou Yi has a max draw of 36”, recommended 35” (sadly, I don’t have the bow, but you can find a video about this bow published by Armin Hirmer ☺️) www.bogararchery.sk/vegh-chinese-bow The Nökhor by Alibow (Mongolian style) has a max draw of 35” up to 40lbs strength: www.alibowshop.com/product-page/laminated-mongol-empire-bow-nokhor The Xongkoro by Alibow (Manchu style) has a max draw of 35” and is up to 170cm long (unstrung). The Manchu bows are the longest of the asiatic bows apart from Japanese bows. www.alibowshop.com/product-page/manchu-bow-xongkoro The Raider bow by Paragon (Tatar style) has a max draw of 34” and is a very nice shooter, too! paragonbows.com/Raider-Bow-Traditional-Handmade-Bow-for-sale There are surely more, but these bows came to my mind first 😁 Only Japanese Yumi bows are longer than the other asiatic bows (usually less than 67” or 170cm). The Manchu (Chinese Qing dynasty) bows are the longest compared to Turkish, Tatar, Seljuk, Serbian, Scythian, Assyrian, Hunnish and Chinese bows like Han, Ming and Tang. Welcome to the fantastic world of asiatic bows! 🏹🔆
@@agamagreen Thanks a lot for the detailed reply! Yes, the yumi is long, close to 230 cm. However, I am looking for a bow with a similar draw length as a yumi, but which I can practice with indoors (with a 2,4 m ceiling height).
Cool comparison! Happy Saturday 😊
Thank you so much, dear Brian! ☺️🙏
Enjoy the weekend! 😁🏹🔆
GREAT REVIEW MY DEAR, BOTH BOWS DRAW AND SHOOT NICE, BUT I LEAN TOWARDS THE ALI BOW.
☺️ Thank you so much, dear brother! 😁🙏🙏
Both bows are excellent choices- personal taste and/or draw length drive the decision 😁👍
I loved this battle 😊 🏹 Is so nice see you shooting and how you detail each bow. Enjoy the weekend Sister blessings. 😊🙏🏹

@@agamagreen One more question: Where to is the draw length measured? To the side of the handle facing the archer or the side facing the target?
@@stefanhansen5882 I measure the draw length from the back side, whereas the brace height is measured from the belly (archer side).
@@stefanhansen5882 All mentioned bows match the parameters ☺️
Happy bow shopping!
