    I've always wanted to do an autobiography comic, multiple in fact, but I can't figure out what persona to pick that is the most "me". I used to do TV heads, but now those dont connect with me and I struggle to create just ONE persona. But maybe I can just use different ones for different stories.
    This was very inspirational thank you.

      Ha I have trouble keeping to one persona too. Tho some artists seems to be able to. Yeah I just use different ones for different stories for now😄

    This was so Good. 👏 I have watched all of your videos - many of them several times and I have really enjoyed them. Thank you so much for making these and your voice/outlook. I feel I have gained fresh perspectives on creativity. And no lie - I just got the pilot parallel pen and Handwritmic because of your channel. 😂

      Thank you! That’s lovely to hear they contributes to something positive. Yeah those are good pen choices. Do look up Ashley Wood drawings to see how the pen can be used. I think he does amazing things with it. Handwritmic ruling pen is fun too.😄

    this is really good advice! it's inspiring me to make my own comic, i like how this approach creates some distance and allows for more creative freedom.

    😂😂😂 the pic of you thinking about the pen whilst on the toilet 😂😂😂 I love it. Aside from that, the moral to this story is so true. I must use the art materials I have and not keep looking at my wish list.

      Yes tho it is still fun do a a little shopping now and then. U sound like u have too many materials already😄 what else is on your wishlist?

      @@Drewscape-art a full set of Prismacolor Premier pencils, some quality paintbrushes for gouache and water colour, a Khadi Fat book sketchbook, (shall I continue?) a wide range of Daniel Smith watercolours and Archers paper, a Sailor fountain pen and Ferris Wheel inks ……. Great video! I would like to see more about how you get the final tones on your comics

      @Drewscape-art  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You mean the midtones? If so, that’s just ink wash I scanned and then applied in Photoshop:)

    @MattCelf 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Yes, found that very helpfull. I like how you have a collection of stuff at the end like some kind of Raiders of the Lost Ark warehouse! You also answered a question about what Ashley wood udes to create those marks.
    Love that shadow accross the road you drew, very nice work :)

      Ah so you were wondering what Ashley Wood uses too? Haha. Are u another one of his fans? Yes my art tool storage does feel a little like raiders of the lost ark. It’s still kind of growing bigger😄
