I do research and am trying to obtain seed from relatives of potatoes to introduce better traits into modern cultivars.
But that "does not meet the criteria."
Mean while there is an individual commercially profiting from selling hybrids of these species, with a disclaimer that he received the original pure seeds from this program.
Infuriating.

I want to know would starting a community garden where I teach people how to grow and maintain crops while also providing seeds to seed banks would be an acceptable reason to request seeds and fruit tree cuttings from you guys. You say you work with educators in your small print at the bottom of your website and I just want to know if I would be considered one if I plan on using these seeds and cutting to teach people in my community.
