years ago the IRFU tried to get rid of us, Connacht. We didn't go away, we persevered. I was at this game and I cried at the final whistle. When people right you off and you show them why they're wrong.
Leinster & Ulster were agreeing with the IRFU. Munster stood with Connacht!

2016, Leicester city win the premier league, Wales get to the semi finals of the euros, England win a grand slam and Connacht win the pro12. Definitely the year of the underdog 🤣

@@danielbrown6877 in late 2015 when england's home world cup ended, they'd failed to even reach the knockouts losing narrowly to Wales and taking a 33-13 hammering by Australia both at hq.. Wales, France, Ireland & Scotland were convincing enough to get there so by the 2016 6N england were only ahead of italy in terms of ranking, so to get from 5th to an undefeated 1st was something no one really expected going into '16

sure it would've been a tighter outcome if leinster had been deemed the first score, but the fact that cronin's try was helped by connacht being down to 14 kinda evens it out in a way..

Pro 12 would probably be too strong for those countries clubs, maybe Russia I k now they have a team in the Europe challenge club.
Adam Adam if the Pro 12 doesn't look to expand and grow the sport in emerging rugby nations then the Oligarchs Cup will just put a bigger and bigger divide between the Premiership and Top 14.
