- Bratenahl Police Department has a brand new K-9 Officer and the furry puppy stopped by to visit Fox 8`s Stefani Schaefer. Ptl Timothy Garris brought his new partner Cash and Bratenahl Sgt Mike Flanagan brought along retired K-9 Officer Erok.

All K9 cops should have bulletproof vests . They are police officers also and deserve the same protection respect our two legged have .
They do have the vest and wear them when they are on duty!
I agree it’s should be as mandatory as a human Poolice officer
Most police departments want them, and many do have them. In some cases, police departments can't afford them. Hell, a lot of agencies can't even afford to have a K9 Unit.
Erok = WOW what a gorgeous dog. And Cash is too sweet. Looked up his adult pic and he's a huge boy now... and canine hero already.
So much love and respect for these pups. Gotta be the toughest thing to say goodbye to them.

She is a lovely reporter, it was so real showing her interest in the dogs, she is sure a dog lover.
The reporter probably wanted to take that puppy home with her......loved seeing how great she was with that pup!! Biting, licking, whining just made her adore that pup more and more!!!!

Oh wow if ever I had to come face to face with Erok I would surrender like immediately what a handsome and intimidating dog he is what an amazing K-7 Officer he made and this Pup is 100% absolutely adorable I loved how he was whimpering but still remained seated he’s going to be another amazing K-9 Officer

They really picked the right reporter for the job, she was amazing with the puppy and didn't mind teeth or whimpering etc. Cash is adorable! And good luck Erok with your retirement! May you be given much stake and chicken :P

It's harder to train an 8 week old puppy from scratch,but you get a better animal in the end.

Our GSD is super social with both human and other dogs. Although if you come up to our door he is pretty scary when you are on the other side of the door, which we like. He is also great with our 7 grandkids they can do no harm with him.
