Eagerly looking forward to watching your Video-clip with the assuredly brilliant "Peter Masella" touch ! Bravo !!! Every time you educate us, Peter ! BEST !
Thanks for sharing Peter and what a beautiful flight. I also like the comments you made ... that was a breeze and no biggy. Lol " what a great sense of humor ". Stay bless and breezy until next time. Smile 🕊🙏🏽
Long time Peter, I haven’t seen your films, I’m excited even when I lived in Queens for 34 years, I retired in 2003 and retired in Taiwan, love it here
Excellent video. You flew over Greensboro, NC. I live very close to Greensboro. I have flown out of GSO several times. I've heard many good things about Breeze and this confirms it even more. Excellent views. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for all you do. Looking forward to your next video. God bless you.
I love flying into Vero Beach on Breeze. The only problem we have had so far is the rental car counter closes at 6:00PM. If your flight arrives after that, you will not be able to rent a car. What I didn't know until you mentioned it is that the control tower also closes after hours. It must be unusual for a larger passenger jet like the A220 to use an uncontrolled airfield.
Very nice video, thank you. I live in Vero & take Breeze to HPN frequently to visit my children/grandchildren in Wappingers (just flew back 6/18). Love it. Even got upgraded to Nicest one time from the back of the plane just "for being nice"! Hope someday they will fly VRB to Stewart/Newburgh.
I was half expecting your dad in Vero ready to pick you up! That was such an epic episode. You mentioned before that Airbus had small windows and I agree! I guess the latest editions have changed that?
The A220 was not originally an Airbus aircraft. It was designed and built by Bombardier as the CSeries, which has among the largest windows on an airliner, with the widest economy seats as well (18.6 to 19 inches). The other aircraft with very large windows is the 787. The A220 and 787 look like siblings, and take a look at their cockpits: except for the sidestick on the A220 and yoke on the 787, they look alike!
Love that you found my favorite plane spotting spot in HPN. I've only flown out of there once so far. I've been curious about Bahamas air and Breeze....hope to bump in to you someday 😊
I went to HPN and is very interested airport, very small and nice city, I took the MTA from White Plains to Grand Park and hangout in NYC, I went to the library, time square and the ground zero, then back to White Plains in the express train. So I like the city and I come back again.
I really enjoy all your videos and especially this one on Breeze Airlines. I have been thinking about trying them out and after watching this video and seeing how nice that plane is I am going to give them a try. I have always been skeptical of these low cost Airlines and how safe they are. I've always used delta but Breeze is now at my local airport, GSP. Thanks peter and keep up the great work
Honestly I'm impressed that they made it so you can walk down to a seating area between gates 1 and 2 at HPN, given how it seems like ANY improvements that are made to the airport is a pain in the ass due to the horrid politics (and, IMO, utter stupidity) surrounding HPN. Just the 2-3 seating config, and the huge windows that remind me of an odd hybrid between Fokker F-100 and Douglas DC-10 windows, have me sold on the A220 being a nice aircraft. (Damn that captain is energetic with his pre-pushback announcement, I like that!)
Question: are you listening to ATC live while you fly? If so, how do you do that? (I miss the old channel 2 on United Airlines where they let you listen to the radio transmissions.)
Sometimes I do listen to ATC live when I fly. If the plane is equipped with WiFi, I'll use the LiveATC app on my phone but for these videos, I add the ATC audio during the editing process. Wasn't it channel 9 (not 2) on United that offered the radio transmissions?
@@PeterMasella After I posted that comment, I had a vague recollection that it might be channel 4. But I believe the actual channel number changed over the years (i.e. it might have been both 2 & 4 at different times). Given that I haven't flown United since 2016, it might definitely have switched to channel 9...
I typically don't listen to ATC on the flight. I usually add the ATC in the video editing process from the LiveATC historical archive, however, if you use the LiveATC app using the aircraft's Wifi you can listen to the ATC in real time. It may take a moment or two to change frequencies that way.
@@PeterMasella Peter: Thanks for your reply. I have used LiveATC on flights using the inflight Wifi but could never find the next frequency fast enough. After you reply, I checked and realized there is a frequency search on LiveATC, and then I can quickly search for the appropriate sector. I'll try that. Also, I never used the LiveATC historical archive and will check that out as well. Thanks for the suggestion. I really enjoy your videos, so keep them coming. FYI, I am now semi-retired, but had a very active airline/aviation career. I was an airline/aviation attorney, owned a small commuter airline in Florida, was a co-owner of a jet charter and management company in Washington, DC where we also operated emergency medical helicopters and airplanes for hospitals around the country, and finally I ran 2 airline passenger associations in Washington for many years where we grounded the DC-10 in 1979. Good to know about the car! I’ve flown into a few US airports late at night on airlines where the controller went home before we landed.

My pleasure! Thanks!

Great video as always. I might need a tour of the Vero Beach airport. That "baggage claim" was... just wow. I thought DAB was small!

Thanks! Don’t worry about safety! If the FAA grants the airline permission to fly, it’s safe!
Breeze does all things with excellence and always has the customer in mind! Highly recommend 😊

Yes, I was surprised by that space! Love the A220! Thanks for watching!
I love the A220 and Breeze's choice of colors is very nice, I just can't seem to get on board with the check ✔️ livery.
I think the check is their "ascent" logo.
10:04 Looks like someone didn’t update the gate display properly as it notes the airline as Delta.
I was about to inform the gate agent about it but was so excited I forgot to!
The observation area is great but if it’s pre-security I would be nervous to spend too much time there before getting in line for security.
I’ve never seen a line at HPN TSA!
Enjoy watching your videos. Do you have any plans on flying out to the west?? Keep up the great videos.
Thanks! No, but check out some of my older videos where I fly out to the west.

You can use the LiveATC.net app while taking advantage of the aircraft's WiFi, however for my videos, I add the ATC later during the editing process.

Is it unusual for a commercial airliner to land at an uncontrolled airfield?
The airport is a controlled airport however the tower shuts down after certain time. This is not unusual, and there are many airports across the country where this happens.
What does “biggie” refer to?
I don't know. Its a very old departure gate.
