- It's all about experiencing a BREEZE before flying BREEZE in the great outdoors while leaving the Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB) for White Plains, NY (HPN). With an outdoor restaurant and an outdoor viewing and bag claim area, this is a one of a kind American airport! Old meets new as the video transitions from a retro terminal to an ultra modern Breeze A220-300!

Lived in Vero all my life, now im a student pilot out of Skyborne, at KVRB, happy someone could showcase it in its beauty.
Awesome! Good luck to you!
Truly a remarkable Airport...looked like a Villa/Resort building ! Great to see Peter's illustrious father--- an avuncular personality who shares Peter's inexorable passion for aviation...! Peter's Dad must be mighty proud of his son, no doubt. Never mind the weather, but the brilliant narration never left anyone watching with a dull moment. All who take flights must watch Peter's unique and engaging, educative commentary. Flights come alive with Peter's outstanding elucidation ! Bravo, the thrill is endless...!
I always appreciate your kind words!
As an Uber driver, I've yet to meet one person that didn't like Breeze or our Vero Beach airport. Easy in & within 5 minutes you could be on the plane. That's how fast it goes. Plus having CJ Canon next door for food either before or after your trip helps. It's a full restaurant.
Thanks for sharing!
Breeze just announced they will be flying out of Tweed New Haven airport as well, starting in December.
I heard! Growing!
This kind of reminds me of Lancaster Airport (KLNS) in Pennsylvania. I take flight lessons at that airport and Breeze will start nonstop flight to MCO in October.
Cool!
I’ve flown Breeze twice and they are a great little airline. Back in April, they announced they are opening an operating base at RSW, my home airport, later this year. So I’m excited for that!
That's great!
Wonderful to see such a great Father Son relationship/bonding! Hope your dad has a good flight!
Thank you so much! He loves his flights like I do!
Another triumph. Thank you.
So nice to say that! Thanks Patrick!
Nice to see your comprehensive look at such a unique airport as KVRB. Also enjoy your Dad who is so charming and knowledgeable about aviation as well.
Thank you very much!
Somehow your videos are so relaxing and enjoyable...thank you! Can't wait to fly Breeze.
Happy to hear that! Thanks so much!
I flew an airbus A220 on Swiss from GVA to FRA. I LOVE ❤️ the large windows!!
Awesome! The first A220 I ever saw in person was Swiss but I didn't get to fly on it :(
Nice job Peter! I am a 3rd generation Vero Beach native and my mother was a civilian employee at Naval Air Station Vero Beach back in '42. Hoping to take this Breeze flight one day.
Very cool! Thanks for watching!
Love these episodes with your dad. I bet he’s getting a kick out of becoming a TH-cam personality!
I grew up near Cocoa Beach in the 60’s and 70’s. We used to refer to Vero as Zero Beach because it was a sleepy retirement town back then, with not much entertainment to offer college-age kids. Looks like it has a lot more going on these days. Good to see!
Thanks! He is loving it and he watched the video this morning! Vero Beach has come a long way!
We recently flew Breeze into VBR from PVD. We love the Terminal at VBR, Breeze, and the A220.
I think you mean VRB! It sure is a great terminal! So unique and very different than PVD!
Great video as always.
I appreciate that! Thanks Mary!
Breeze started operating out of here in Syracuse some time ago, and I've heard good things about it.
Cool!
Flew on an A220-100 with Delta to Boston from Chicago and an A220-300 from O'Hare to Seattle on Delta. Comfortable aircraft for sure!
Sure is!
Cute little airport!! Maybe someday check out the closest airport to Disney World, the Kissiminee Gateway Airport someday, presently there is no scheduled commercial passenger service there though.
Nice!
What day was this? I’d like To Watch it on flight aware. June 3rd ?
Interesing bit of trivia, The 1983 movie Last Plane Out was filmed at this airport terminal where you were standing.
Cool!
Nice to see your dad again. Also, how do flights approach Stewart? Do they have to go around the same way as flights to HPN?
Thanks! Yes, they follow the same route until getting to CT where they head further northwest.
@@PeterMasella Got it. Such a busy airspace.
I live in the area. A great restaurant to go to for breakfast. I'm 72 and just quit renting cessnas and bought a boat. Very Decorative restaurant. 😊
Thanks for sharing!
Sweet vid
Thanks!
Now dad is internet famous!🎉
Yes!
Before you told us what the outdoor baggage claim area was, my first thought was, "Put a tent there and it would be a perfect place for an AvGeek wedding!" 🤣😂
GREAT idea!
Is there a way to disable autofocus and/or have manual focus? Without such an ability to control focus, rain drops on a window is a beeeeeetch to deal with!
I hope so! We use our cell phones for filming.
@@PeterMasella There should be a means regardless of if you use an Apple iPhone, or an Android phone. (If you use an iPhone I can't help since I use Android phones 😫)
I used to not care about it too badly, until a flight out of HPN a few years ago where my phone decided to autofocus as we thundered down (... or would it be "up?" 🤔) runway 34, and blurred the entire takeoff roll. 🤬
Good video. Have you tried microsoft flight simulator? You can fly planes with beyond atc
The last time I tried it was in the 1990s!
As we've noted n other on-line comments, Vero Beach Regional Airport s cute perhaps or quant, but it lacks precision approach nav-aides to permit all-weather operations, and the cross-wind runway is too short for many corporate and certainly Breeze A 220 size jets, a definite hindrance.
Yup!
You are such a nice son❤
Thanks!
i love eating at cj cannon
Cool!
