I'm more of a Jimi Hendrix and John McLaughlin fan (who were both friends & fans of Jeff Beck) but I remember in the naughty days of the mid-80s when we would get super high on potent great Thai weed and listen to Wired & Blow By Blow, particularly the songs Come Dancing, Good Bye Pork Pie Hat and Cause We Ended As Lovers would bend & blow our warped minds.
I started out my college radio show a couple of hour ago giving a tribute to Jeff Beck and kicked out the show with The Yardbirds The Train Kept a Rollin'! Still sad about Jeff Beck's death, but I had fun being on the air playing music! Music is life! Rock on!

So many moments I could think of. I'm a blues fan and his album Truth to me was the gauntlet being thrown down in British blues. An amazing album. I think Jeff was with Hendrix, the two greatest guitarists ever. There was no style Jeff couldn't play.

I remember hearing my uncle play the Yardbirds as we would cruise around when i was a kid looking for vinyl and rock magazines in the stores.. that riff to heart full of soul had me hooked on his playing ever since, beck bogart and appice another killer band. Missed seeing him Live twice and deeply regret it. He was a Legend and a true master of the guitar!! a six string wizard! RIP Jeff 🥲

Detroit Opera theater 2006 Beth Hart was with him for five songs in the concert it's a beautiful Arena Jeff's band with Pino Palladino on bass Vinnie colaiuta on drums mr. Beck was right at home at the Detroit Opera theater I'll never forget
