You are not gonna believe this, but I was transcribing this solo for fun to play on my bass clarinet when due to unfortunate circumstances I had to factory reset my laptop and lost all my progress on the transcription. This is amazingly done and I would love to play the bass clarinet part on it.

I thought I could “challenge” (your already so good) to do the solo from the band Lucky Chops in one of their songs called •Coco• (Leo P is in that and he does a solo, so it’s not anyone random :] ) good luck if you do decide to do it! It would be pretty awesome ❤🎷🎶

I can figure out why when I play high notes on my clarinet there’s this air noise that comes out before the actual note comes out. Can someone help me out. I’ve been playing the clarinet for 3 years and still can figure out why
The harder the reed is, the easier it is for the air noise you say to come out. For that I recommend you make long notes in the treble, to strengthen your embouchure and learn how to blow so that they sound good. In any case, it will wear off over time if you practice the clarinet often. Greetings and I hope this helps you.

whats causing the clipping? is it the trumpet+clarinet frequencies clashing together? anw, killer playing. sometimes i put on some 40s jazz and wish j picked up clarinet instead
Is the Bass Clarinet solo supposed to be in the upper register? The sheet music says that it is but I think you are playing in the lower register for that part :p idk its the same as the instruments in Bb sheet so I got confused. Thanks
Yeah, it's an octave down. this is because the bass clariente has a dijitation system different from the sax (12va instead of 8va) so there are parts of the solo that have very uncomfortable fingerings or directly there are effects that cannot be made an octave higher like in 1:24
@@alejandro.portela I mean, I have the same strap and the same bass (it's buffet prestige right?) and this fastening ring you use is too high for a proper balance (buffet was made for a double strap I quess)
@@dabblerbrawler Yes, that's true, but my model (it only goes up to the Eb) only has one retaining ring. I tried the one that goes up to low C and that one has a double ring. In any case, it only makes me uncomfortable when it comes to being with the hooked peron without playing
