I’ve been back country elk shed hunting for about 10 years now and I’ve learned no matter how deep you get if there’s big bulls someone else knows about it, it’s a heartbreaker running into other people or camps after so much scouting, glad you came away with a big set.
Oh yeah definitely haha. A big problem we run into out here is landowners pushing animals back onto private just before they drop antlers. It’s something I’ve watched twice through my spotting scope. Very frustrating, and unethical.
Haha good thinkin! I mostly cut them into dog chews for the pups. But I have a hard time doing that to nice, unbroken sets. Those I just hold onto. Maybe I’ll hang them in my future house one day. If I had time to do some serious shed hunting, and find lots of them, I’d sell them.

Love the whole story. Enjoyed the video. That moose paddle was quite the bonus too. Strong work!
Awesome finds! Love the thumbnail too 😎
Awesome! Hard work paying off.
Thanks! The bull at the 1m09s mark is the one who’s antlers I found.
Congrats!
I have to comment on the music , it was different
That’s cool
What do you do with them?
Mount those on the taco 😂
