I miss our Ural, sold it to build an HD side car rig. Nothing beats the Ural. And I must say that Jamie R knows how to ride the rig, it is one thing to raise the third wheel, but to do it at speed, wow...

многофункциональный, высокопроходимый универсал ( идея BMW ), надёжен,

держаться в седле, кому не нужен усилитель, чтобы повернуть руль, кто не
боится расстаться с подушкой безопасности, кто любит открытую дорогу,
помогает поддерживать
прекрасную физическую форму и чувство меры, избавляет от комплексов,

убрать BMW из вашего спича и все будет правдой . Современный Урал не имеет ничего общего с теми помойками что делали 70 лет назад , абсолютно ничего . В свое врея поделки бнв и тп может и были к месту но сейчяас это говно как и советские их аналоги .
Современный Урал это продукт иного качества и иных потребительских требований , он ничего общего не имеет с бнв , германией и совком . Можно конечно сравнивать совковые говноуралы и днепры с современными Уралами , но это просто смешно , еще смешнее сравнивать это с поделками немцев полувековой давности - там вообще полный трешь . Понятное дело что на всем этом древнем говне можно как то передвигаться , но лучшее место им в музеях .
А современный Урал - это совсем иной продукт .

Now rise my Ural M-63, 1965. Side trailer springs, color-turquoise . Will do a video rewiew.

Jamie, Awesome video! Which alpinestars jackets are you and your dad wearing? How did they stand up to your torture test?
Were the comments made during the ride added in post? They all sound extremely clear and calm considering some of the situations your dad and Jakob were in.
Hey Jamie, How about posting google maps or route/hwy names for your adventures on a MotoGeo page or at the end of the vids? I live in So Cal and keep wanting to find some of these roads that you ride in the videos.

That Burrito looks delicious.
Wish i could afford one of these things. But they are fairly expensive and not exactly known for great reliability and have a very limited dealer network. If a few grand was knocked off the price and it was supported by a honda or yamaha dealer network it would be the perfect adventure touring type bike.

i was going to get a side car but I don't know how to ride a motor bike yet. I know how to cycle. Is the learning curve easy?

so whats the two wheel drive bit, is it both bike wheels or both rear wheels, either makes sense. Great video as always mate, feeling jealous in the UK :)
Ben O'Rourke The sidecar wheel can be engaged so that it drives with the rear wheel of the bike. You should only do this when riding off-road, its unridable in 2WD mode on the street.

Sidecars are a blast. And present a much better alternative to the abomination that is a Trike or a wheeled snowmobile contraption for those who simply can't keep a bike upright,whatever the reason.....
