I feel like the story mode should be specifically for unlocking characters and the tournament mode/hero mode should let you grind for zenny to spend on customization and special skills /maybe even perks to keep offline players engaged with the game because personally i don't care for online modes.
bro honestly, i dont see many people talking about this aspect of what sparking zero should have. its something small, but wouldn't be cool if sparking zero had an opening like the other BT games. With good music and a nice visual animation. It would become iconic like the other openings in the BT games.

One thing I'd like to see return from T3 would be the impact of special ki attacks. When you hit an enemy with a Super Kamehameha in T3, there'd be hashed lines, screen shake, multiple hits, and an event horizon. Really makes it feel more powerful compared to Raging Blast where it was a small, one-hit explosion.

I’d love to see a photo mode in Sparking Zero. I’d go hog wild on photo mode. Also your take on dlc, I would think that they don’t do one character per dlc. They’d probably do an arc per dlc, like the dragonball arc or the z movie arcs, or the gt arc
I’m in the minority here but I am not a fan of having a genre specific character. Much rather would have a system that lets you choose your transformation. One of the things I loved about Budokai is you could literally put Saiyan saga Vegeta up and give him ssj. So it looks like the Goku (mid) meme is alive but I want a Goku that can transform from ssj2 to God to even ssj4 cuz that’s fun.

One feature I really want in this game is permanent destruction. I know we'll have stage destruction of course like the older Tenkaichi series but I want to be able to create permanent ground craters with my super moves. I don't want the ground to be destroyed only for 5 seconds and then it's magically repaired again like in the Xenoverse series. 😆
but on the other hand I tell myself that if they want to sell DLC it is in their interest that the character is something unique which influences their gameplay, I am confused
not mandatory but i would really fw a what-if mode like raging blast 1 had cause i never got to play it as a kid & i think the character interactions would be cool

Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games except of Dragon Ball Z Evolution are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective.🤷🏻♂️✌️

They need to add a lot of stuff for this game to be consider great and unfortunately I think we won’t get that same feeling from the Old DBZ when we was growing up in the pS2 era instead we’re going to get DBZ Kai and Super type of vibe. I like the old dubs better than today Dragon ball
I can definitely see this game maybe lastly up to 2031 with the amount of endless content they can spill out since that Dragon Ball already has a long history of stuff added to to it and characters they can pull from with shows and a few spin off stuff this game could definitely last a lifetime not sure if that would be the best way to say it but it's just a guess.

If i could wish for 1 Thing for Sparking Zero to have it would be: PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT INCLUDE SUPER ARMOR IN THIS GAME. I dont want my fights to go a 100.000 years. Just let us adjust the health bars in the vs modes. But please no super armor.
Tenkaichi 2's story mode is better than Tenkaichi 3's. It lets you explore, use upgraded characters and has some pretty good cutscenes using in-engine graphics. Sparking Zero is one game that I'm actually looking forward to DLC. All of the DLC characters for XV2 felt half baked because of the shallow combat/counter mechanics that made the games fighting feel unauthentic. Hopefully the game has split-screen vs. Delay it if need be. Drop down the graphics quality during local vs battles, I wouldn't be bothered. Don't want to delay it? Release split screen vs as a free feature update a year after release.
I definitely agree about the Tutorial. Honestly I've been trying to remember what features & modes we had in BT3. I remember we had the Survival mode and a few other modes in what was it ultimate mission and also modes you did from disc fusion of previous BT games 1 & 2. I liked those modes as it was something I did to challenge myself and learn many different characters as well going up the ranks. I just can't remember if there was a Tutorial or even a practice mode like Xenoverse has. Practice mode would be awesome especially to checc stats combo practice etc etc. Story mode I'm open to different things but I don't want anything basic like galaxy mode as that was no story mode but something else. Very similar to DBZ Budokai 2's game board mode. But hear me out though I remember Budokai Tenkaichi being a game that had RPG elements in the story mode similar to Kakarot. Meaning your attributes will effect everything of how the game feels in story mode. Similar to DBZ Budokai 3 as well. Having a somewhat free roam isn't bad as it could open the door to getting past a part you are unable to pass because your attributes aren't that powerful. Imagine being stucc on a story mode fight with no way to level up your attributes/stats in the new Tenkaichi.( if that went this route for Sparking Zero). That's what made free roam a good thing in games like Budokai 3, Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Kakarot or even Xenoverse because you can leave to go fight other beings on a grind to return stronger.

I'd be fine with a cutscene before and after each fight. The main draw in this case would be the Super sagas, since we've already played through the Z sagas dozens of times over.
L take on final fantasy 16 gameplay. Its very similar to DMC so it on the player to mix things up. Really BT3 had boring gamplay after awhile all the characters did the same thing pretty much.
