Ive been a disciple of Jesus for almost 30 years now… im definitely not Catholic, but I’ve recently been going through a really rough, traumatic season of life… I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, I cant focus, most of the time I’m barely holding it together. I found my grandmothers old rosary and I made up my own set of scriptures to recite that are meaningful to me right now for each bead, then I use the decades for different things to pray about… listing 10 reasons to worship, 10 people to pray for, 10 things I need to confess, etc… Ive found that it slows me down and keeps my mind from wandering off, it helps me to breathe.. its not hard for me to pray, it’s just hard for me to pray without hyperventilating or falling into tears or just forgetting what I was even doing. I guess you wouldn’t call it praying the rosary, but a liturgy of prayer using beads has been immensely helpful for me! I can keep it in my pocket or around my neck and any time I start feeling overwhelmed by life I have a simple way to ground myself and get my heart and mind back where they belong… It’s actually a really beautiful thing ❤

That's really beautiful, anyway that a rosary can help you bring you closer to God is fantastic. I would advice trying out the prayers on the rosary that do not involve Mary, like the our father, the glory be, or the Fatima prayer. They can be really beautiful to pray and it's awesome to pray together with millions this prayer

@@liambrunner3026 we may not be of the same faith but my creator doesn’t believe in hating those who haven’t wronged us. Yes our religion have collided before but that was the past it wasn’t the people I meet today. Plus it helps me learn more about other religions

My Dad passed 2 years ago and he faithfully made hundreds of rosaries for the church. I wanted to make wall rosaries for my brothers but i wanted it to have meaning towards my father and his devotion and love for Our Mother Mary. I not only loved your lesson but i prayed with you and felt joy and peace. Thank you

Dearest Father. I greatly enjoyed this video and felt your enthusiastic spirit, while you prayerfully assembled your HABIT ROSARY. I particularly liked that you explained why your habit rosary has a simple cross, instead of a crucifix. I’ve always wondered why your order’s habit rosary never has the traditional crucifix. Now I know. Thank you Father for sharing this inspiring video and blessings on your current ministry.

Thank you sooooo much, you saved my rosary project! I make rosaries to give away free; I was low on supplies and found these great wooden crosses that have their holes pierced on the side like yours and I couldn't get them attached! Since I have 2 rosaries to mail off I turned to TH-cam hoping to find someone who was attaching crosses like this and there you are! Mother Mary is not only the un tier of knots she helps me make new ones for her rosaries! Thanks and God bless brother 🙂

May God bless you! I bought all the materials today, and happily crafted along with your video. I re-used a “crucifix” and a “centerpiece” from an old rosary that had lost a bead. I made a gorgeous rosary with white wooden 12mm beads for the “Hail Marys” and red wooden 14 mm beads for the “Our Fathers.” I used black cording, like yours. I love it because it’s the first rosary I ever made. I’m going to have it blessed, and start praying with it right away. Thank you. To Jesus, through Mary! Peace.
