I just used this on my car that sadly sat almost all summer getting hit with a sprinkler. Our water is so bad up here the local airforce base spent millions on a water filtration system for the city (they had to due to an unforseen dumping issue but that's another story). 3 months of this and my blue subaru looked like it was sheading like a snake. I tried MANY products and nothing touched it. Using the heavy duty water spot remover and ONE pass over my car it was like it NEVER happened. I would post pics here if I could but I will and am going to post this review on their site as well. I know EXTREMELY little when it comes to detailing and within a few of these videos (and the play list of them teaching someone with no experience lol) I was able to save HUNDREDS of dollars by doing this myself. THANK YOU guys, seriously, from the bottom of my heart. My car is my baby and I neglected her when my life got a little gloomy and being able to bring her back to some glory has done wonders for my mental health as well as my resale vaule!
That’s an awesome story man! I also have bad water spots on my glass and roof of truck. This stuff works great I am glad they came out with it! Chemical guys makes some bad@ss products
@@ChemicalGuysI love your products I tried this but it didn’t work what am I doing wrong ?or could it be the fact the I did order during the summer and when it got to my home it looked like the heat made it leak out the bottle ?
I been detailing my own vehicles for years using all the other products on the market and just like everyone reading this comment, yes it was long, hard, all day work but when I found the "Chemical Guys" product line the whole detailing got so much easier and better that it takes only ten percent of the time to detail that once was all day. People use the "Chemical Guys" products and save on money and valuable time and best yet your vehicle will look better than it ever has!
I bought this stuff for my windows after letting it go with the spots for about a month. I had to use some 0000 steel wool with it but it got the glass looking brand new again then used your hydro view to protect the glass afterwards. Your products are great
I can’t wait to use this on my civic SI! My bf got a new truck and swore up and down he was going to wash both cars…well…he got tired🥹 so he bought this hard water spot remover for me! And I’m super excited to use it! The water is so hard here it eats through metal after some years! Thanks for the video!
Sorry to say, but after watching these videos I went and bought these items to remove the hard water spot from my SUV. Unfortunately, no good results and disappointment results
Waterspot removers in general only remove the minerals that caused the spots. If they etched the paint or glass they'll need to be polished out. He literally says this in the video.
I will try that cause my Acura the windshield have a lot of water spots and when it rains i can barely see and it's kinda scary driving under the rain thanks man 👍
Hi, firstly, love your products. I was wondering, could you do a video on cleaning/maintenance/protection of wire wheels and white wall tires? Cheers -Ryan
This was the 4-5th thing I tried, and it worked great! I have been able to use cleaner wax in the past to remove water spots on glass, but it didn't touch it this time.
Hey I was wondering if you could do a video about microfiber towel maintenance and storage to keep them looking and working the best for longer without getting household or garage contaminates on it
Hey Kyle! If water spots have been left untreated for long enough they will begin the etch the surface and require machine polishing to remove. Check out the combination of C4 and P4.
So I have these hard waterspots on my windshield. I bought the car last March and they have been there since and idk how long before that. Would this still work after that long of a time?
Hi there! Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover utilizes a chemical cleaner to remove stains whereas Water Spot Rx contains and abrasive to refine the surface.
This HD water spot remover work great. I used it on my 2010 Camery to remover calcium water spots from sprinkles and it removed them on the first dry!!
Do not use heavy duty water spot remover on windshield =glass it will leave streaks worse than water spots! It will not come off. Make a videos on how to fix using this product!
Is there a video of you guys using this on the painted parts of the vehicle? Do you need to apply a sealer or re-wax the car after using the water spot remover
