I would like to see improvements like figure articulation. The scale is fine for me. I just want better articulated figures. The vehicles should also use chrome again for certain parts. Spring features, maybe refer to something like StarCom. It's closer to the animation. Whatever it is, I hope the prices are reasonable, because simple TMNT sets from this company already costs quite a lot.

I also hope Fresh Monkey Fiction does right by the C.O.P.S. line.
As someone who actually made the sacrifices in time and money to get the originals, both boxed and loose, over the years, I really hope you don't get your wish. I don't mind "close enough but with clear and distinct differences to the originals" but there should be clear enough differences between these and the originals, so that those of us who spent the time, money and effort over the years, to get the originals, both boxed and loose, don't lose out because of those who weren't and still aren't, prepared to do the same.

Finally, the MASK toys are like gold and the originality of each and lore per character sold everyone on what it was. Condor was always the go to motorbike to Helicopter and outsold everything on the runs as it was everything people loved. This being released again will be great and if they release everything it will be amazing as even back then some of the second season characters and vehicles weren't released as full buys and just as limited editions.
Pretty interesting. Even though I don't collect anymore, I would love to see these on the shelves again in a store. It/they would bring back so many awesome memories from my childhood during the 1980s. I was only 5 when the Mask cartoon started in 1985, and can still recall owning so many of these vehicles back then. It was/still is an awesome cartoon, with a killer opening song, and bada*s toys, too. I've always held out hope for a live action movie based on the old cartoon, especially when talks started up about it, back in the latter part of the 2000s, but havent heard anything else about it in probably 15 years, or something like that. It probably will never happen, but would be cool if it did ever come to fruition. Maybe with the rerelease of some of these toys, it will get the ball rolling again, so to speak. 🤞
M.A.S.K. was and remains the best toy ever. I had almost everything from Mask. I loved it. If it's true that Mask is coming back, I'll have to think about collecting these.
I couldn't disagree more. Give me EXACT 1:1 replicas of *everything* from the glorious and incomparable 1980s, from the toy molds to the packaging/artwork, or give me nothing at all. Hasbro/Kenner Classics (The Real Ghostbusters) and Playmates (TMNT) have shown us that this can be done. That's why I don't understand why "The Loyal Subjects" are involved with M.A.S.K. instead of Hasbro itself. That leads me to believe that the original M.A.S.K. toy molds will *not* be used, and if that's the case, then it will NOT be truly M.A.S.K. after all.
THAT, is the THE best news I've heard for bloody ages! Finally i'm looking like being able to get the 6 i had in the 80s. Will probably end up with a few more this time!
I had a dream not long ago where I was outside a toystore and wanted to go in to see all the new MASK toys being released that I was hearing about. It was like the first two years of vehicles but many new ones from that time period as if time stopped but never became creatively bankrupt and the ''split seconds' spin off vehicles never happened. I wanted to collect them all and I had no idea what many of them were, but they looked so cool.
I still have my original Mask toys and figures and l have all the weapons stored, so none are lost! I would have loved to got to semi truck! But is was impossible to find one for sale! So l can’t Wait for the re issues in 2025!
Very cool. I had Condor, the red Venom bike and the black truck with the Snake Oil decal and also Matt trackers without vehicles but with a rubber boat in one and with a jet pack or something in the other I think.. Might still have the stuff in the cellar, not sure. Anyway, might get it! Maybe not any new stuff if they do that but might get any remakes of stuff that was in the cartoon.
Jazwares has done pretty well with producing vehicles, playsets and large accessories for their action figures within their Halo and Fortnite toylines, so if not the Haslow themselves (since they're the IP owners), I would rather expect someone like them, the Jazwares, trying to take on such a vehicle-heavy franchise as is the M.A.S.K.

@@andrewrichards312 Andrew, stop being greedy. Have you even listened to yourself? Wow it has happened, my only exposure to The Loyal Subjects are the vinyl Transformers figures so I’m not sure how this is going to go. I’m surprised Hasbro aren’t doing this line.
Nice. Only managed to buy Rhino back then and played others belonging to my classmates. Given to my niece years later - it was relatively new. As with many others, can afford buying them all now.
Very cool news. Bringing back the originals will be a major undertaking as the MASK toy line was very much a product of its time, and what could be budgeted at a lot less. In that I mean right up to the end with Split Seconds they featured rubber wheels, chrome plated exterior detail, and spring loaded weapons and transformations. Collecting nearly all four waves it was crazy the amount of play value in addition to the figure each toy had. Despite being as old as the originals they've all faired really well for the most part though stickers definitely don't stand the test of time. Will be really interesting to see how there turn out, and maybe we'll see an official release of the never produced Shark to complete the first series of vehicles. Side note. Only missing about 4 of the Spit Seconds vehicles though I would be very surprised to see anything past the original wave or even second wave of releases.
I had so many sets of M.A.S.K. when i was i child..and throwed it away 14 years ago...what an idiot i was....so glad to see that they will return...i´ll buy these sets again if they will bei 1:1 to the originals
How many volumes of that Cookie Jar dvd is there to complete the entire series? I never saw that release before. I own the Shout Factory DVD collection but it’s missing the last 10 episodes of the racing episodes, even though it says complete series it’s not.
thanx for sharing the news. This is kind of crazy. So it confirms that Hasbro completely dropped all their plans to revive the line. I worked for LEGO as a brand merchandiser for the past 7 years and in my job I met brand managers from other companies while at events and toy fair shows. Before the lockdown, I had a Hasbro rep show me the prototypes of 4” figures and a couple vehicles and he said Hasbro had a plan to re-introduce the MASK line and they would be a sub-set of GI Joe. in the years after, we saw the 6” GI Joe classified line pick up steam and I think the idea of 4” figures and vehicles just went away at Hasbro and along with it, the idea of making MASK return. I’m happy that someone got the rights to make toys and I hope they do move forward with this at Loyal Subjects. I, for one, am sick of the 6” figure craze simply because they have become too expensive. I think it’s time the entire industry scaled down to keep the costs down. Maybe starting with MASK will get this rolling if they are popular enough.
The switchblade and the boy with robot were the only things I didn’t have. Still have almost everything except the volcano monster truck. Accidentally broke.😢
I'd love to see them run dual lines like Hasbro... or Super 7. One a complete retro reissue of the original line.. then an updated 'premium' line at a higher price point with more details and functionality and poseability.
I'm REALLY hope they're different from the originals enough that the new stuff can be easily differentiated from the old stuff (even date stamps with the vehicles and fine print on the box will be enough- although some kind of marking on figures and masks would be great too). I've spent a heap of time and money over the years on my M.A.S.K. collection (I even own test shots) and I would hate to see that time and effort go up in smoke.
@@RetroToyEscapades Hopefully they're clearly obvious as being different - right down to different box art being used. I think that ideally, not only should the packaging should be radically different from the originals, but there should be some distinct molding differences on the figures, vehicles and masks themselves, to make them easy to differentiate from the originals. By all means give people a rough approximation to relive the nostalgia. However if people want 100% the originals, then they should put in the sacrifices to get them, like those of us who have them did.
I had Gator and Condor! Wanted Switchblade, Piranha,, Shark, and Jackhammer! Missile hack! Get ballpoint pen. Remove spring. Replace original. Most of the fireable missile launchers were secured by screws.
This is awesome news, of course my belief in the legitimacy is dependent on whether they actually get released. Still, if they are, I'd definitely love to get my hands on a few of the vehicles both those I had back in the day and those I didn't. My concern, as you pointed out, is where collectors are going be able to find the new line and even how much these will set us back. I've had to wane on collecting in recent years because prices have been crazy high. I really hope TLS does get these released and I hope that Hasbro will be a distributor since M*A*S*K is one of their properties.
Hasbro making Matt a member of gi joe and doing absolutely nothing with it was a huge mistake . Perfect timing to introduce all the vehicles in that scale . What a blunder
What do you guys think about The Loyal Subjects working on M.A.S.K. ?

I had 2 cars from mask that time I had the red car looks like the time machine I spray paint silver and a purple car that has jet wings
Purple Car = Manta!
Companies always over promises. I’ll believe it when I see it.
Oh, this is a lock
Hell yeah, please bring them back,an thundercats an definitely Voltron
Thundercats are back
I had so many sets of M.A.S.K. when i was i child..and throwed it away 14 years ago...what an idiot i was....so glad to see that they will return...i´ll buy these sets again if they will bei 1:1 to the originals
How many volumes of that Cookie Jar dvd is there to complete the entire series? I never saw that release before. I own the Shout Factory DVD collection but it’s missing the last 10 episodes of the racing episodes, even though it says complete series it’s not.
Amazon has the Cookie Jar/ M.A.S.K. Complete DVD Collection set
The only thing I have left of my MASK collection is one of the Boulder Hill gas pump (gun).. 😂
Trust me, it’s rare!
@RetroToyEscapades Yeah I had alot of MASK toys but along with my Gi Joe..He Man and Star Wars my mom donated them all.
I hope that there will bring them out in time for my 41 birthday 🎂 next year 😊
Fingers crossed!
I'm all in, all in.. Lets go!!!!
Trakker’s gonna lead the mission!
@@RetroToyEscapades I love my toys, I play with my toys & video my toys._ google ULTRA Verse 5
Sweden also had a M.A.S.K comic boom in a collab with he-man called ”Sattelitserien” :)
Need to find those!
I hope Loyal Subjects make these as close to OG as possible.
Totally!
thanx for sharing the news.
Hasbro was planning a Shared Toy & Movie Universe since 2017….which never materialised beyond the IDW Comics
I had the truck, I loved it.
Rhino 🦏!
Condor was my 1st mask toy.
fantastic video. thank you!
Cheers!
The switchblade and the boy with robot were the only things I didn’t have. Still have almost everything except the volcano monster truck. Accidentally broke.😢
The plastic quality on most of the vehicles was not good!
oh my... Really?! I have my very own CONDOR! Lost it.. or probably stolen (T_T)
This one is a must buy for sure!
💯
I lost my piranha rider when I was a boy playing at the playground... I was so sad.😢
Nooooooo!!
I wouldn't mind a resurgence of 80s toys like Centurians, Toxic Crusaders, silver hawks, Bravestar, street sharks, and Exo Squad.
Most of them are already back!
Energised! Jackhammer and Hurricane are on my list!
Boom!
"M.A.S.K ! They're working overtime, fighting crime, fighting crimeee!"
Me 30 years ago : woow!
Myself 30 years later : what? 😅
Still a danceable theme!
I hope they improve the mask toys it's been years I use to watch this when I was a kid
I'd love to see them run dual lines like Hasbro... or Super 7. One a complete retro reissue of the original line.. then an updated 'premium' line at a higher price point with more details and functionality and poseability.
If Super7 does it - I hope to see MASK ReAction figures
No someone bring back the original stomper 4x4s
I vote the MASK Jackhammer 4x4!
Wonderfull excellente masked crusaders
Fabulous!
I loved the cartoon but couldn't afford vehicles. Can't wait too see them on shelves
Me too!
saving up money for these since I heard about it.
Here we go!
Do you know when and if there will be pre-orders?
Love Mask and Rom and can't wait for this.
You said it!
Bring back MASK, you gotta bring back Wheeled Warriors
I kinda hope they do a deluxe line that's scale with 3.75 inch figures.
Who knows.....it could happen!
From the early tease, the box packaging does appear to be different- and of course with The Loyal Subjects brand imprint
I just watched MASK on pluto last week.
Nice!
Can we get Starcom next, thought those toys were amazing too
I had Gator and Condor!
Exactly! Been waiting since 2008
My favorite one always Switchblade, not sure why, maybe it was a very special toy
One of the few with a legit alternate mode!
Wow estoy emocionado de saber que está la posibilidad de una reedición de MASK
M-M-M-MASK!
Yo! I had that green motorcycle 😮
Condor! Whoo!
M.A.S.K. was a part of my childhood
Right here!
I'm ready to obsess over Mask once again
Make it so!
