This should be re-titled Ians 2024 April Edition WITB!!! This isn't a knock on IAN at all.... I think most of us change out clubs all the time so Its great to see it at Ian's level as well!!! Always a great channel.
I agree with the mini/3wood, I hit 3 wood off the tee 3-7 times a round and hit it off the ground, maybe 5 times a year, so I think my mini driver is going back in the bag. If I don't have confidence in mini driver from the ground them I will go to my 5 wood.
Same. I so rarely hit 3W off the deck and hit that distance club off the tee so much more often. Mini Driver 13.5* so much easier to hit off the tee than a 3W. I gap down to a 4W at 18* goes far enough when needed and easy to hit.
This is exactly what I'm doing this season, driver as fade only set up and the mini as my draw club that only goes a little bit shorter. I have a 7w that might need to become a 5w though since my 4w is getting replaced by the BRNR.
@@Misnjeftour usually just means better tolerances on weights and loft and lie angles. It’s the same material and club. The tour cog is a little different as it can give you a bit more variety in adjustability.
