We’ve been having bad weather (tornados) so it’s taken me a bit to get through this whole video but loved every second of it. Hit the P-UDI at a demo day last week and it was money

Love the WITB. If you are trying out three woods I would suggest trying something with low loft and higher spin rates. I use an older Titleist 915 3w with 13,5 degrees of loft and I can get it to 4500 spin. It works great for both hitting bombs down the fairway and stopping it on harder greens.

Love WITB. I wish we could get X Flex off the TM website without going to the custom shafts. The TD is offered as a standard shaft but not Cat 5. We can get high speed heads in LS/Tour but no high speed shafts. Help us commoners out here Trottie

Hi Chris. Video idea. Been done before I know but not by you. I’d love to hear your expert opinion on Driver length. Is a shorter driver better for an average player. What’s the average length on tour? 3 wood shaft in a driver? If it’s shorter should the shaft be heavier?? Dispersion? Carry distance? Mini driver? All the best pal. DC 👍

man I wish I could get out with you on goat sometime as an Oside resident.
I also have the p7mc, great feeling irons. One small problem though, the 6-5 irons are extremely heavy compared to compared to the rest of the set, which makes them unusable. TM would not guarantee the swing weight throughout the set.

Trottie, is there anything a regular consumer can do to order a flatter lie angle on a TaylorMade fairway wood with a fixed hosel/no adapter, like you have? I like the look, feel and performance of the QI10 fairway woods in terms of launch and spin, but I just tend to hook them because the lie angles are a lot more upright than woods currently in my bag.

Btw, you're swing has gotten much better since you ditched the brace and dog toy. It's not being dropped underneath, held-off, and raked.

Good stuff Trottie. Thought there might have been a BRNR mini in there as part of the squad. My squad just had 2 cut from it, looked at my shot scope performance data from last season and realised how bad my 3 wood and 3 hybrid performed to the point they were most problematic than useful so they're out the bag. I'm really tempted to replace both with a hot 7 wood but there aren't any spec'd out fitting centres nearby and finding a 7 wood in a stiff shaft in a retail store is literally impossible, let alone X flex! Why do Taylormade (and the other brands) only sell 7 woods with L/S/R flex shafts? Those of us in the faster swing speed category would buy them for sure if they were available. Have a word mate and help us out!

Hey Mr Trottie...I'm looking into making the trip to the kbs place after your videos! It's just got me thinking and I've never been truly fit...how do you feel about graphite shafts in someone that 38 and has a descent swung speed still...for instance my p790 7 iron is between 175 and 180 ish(still tinkering with the tp5 and x so it a little difference right now. But do you think that's the wrong move?

Hey Trottie, just curious on why you have Cat 5 shafts? I thought those were for the fastest 110-130 swing speeds?
The reason I ask is because I'm looking at getting the Qi10 LS with the KBS TD 60 Stiff shaft which is only category 3. I have an avg swing speed of 106 so I'm wondering if maybe the stiff isn't enough and maybe I'd need to get the X-stiff

Is there any way we can get these Raw MG4's? I've always loved the rusted look on wedges to contrast the irons in the bag. Currently gaming MG4's, is there a way I can rust them up myself?
Do the commercial ones not rust? I know a lotta consumers are weird about rust but I'm with you and never minded it
@@trottiegolf Had them for the last 6 months and they haven't the slightest bit of rust besides the raw face. I've tried lobbing them in salt/vinegar water. Back to the drawing board I guess, NEED that rusted look.

Went In and tried the dhy at my local golf shop. Thought it was exactly what I was looking for as I don’t like or hit my hybrid well. Man I’ve never been more embarrassed in my life. Couldn’t get that thing in the air. Walked out of there with my hybrid in hand and Shame.

Great question. Who knows? Superstroke obv very successful in the putter world but haven't got it into the other clubs. You have to think they'll inject more into Lamkin and live off the legacy BUT I've been miles off on these things before??
Lamkin a great brand so hopefully sticks around. I've only ever used them or Golf Pride

I just feel like I lose a bit of distance with them V's the P7MC so I don't make the transition and choose to play the same model all the way down.

@@sfodge7 the vid won’t directly compare but I can here. Trackman was and is an excellent tool, I had a long relationship on tour and used every version of their device. The only negative is that it misses some shots & obv the price tag. FS hasn’t missed a shot since I’ve had it. The Kit is very user friendly and the player interaction is excellent in terms of what you have achieved in each session. Add the indoor sims and the head office being here in Carlsbad and given my current focus on social media it was a no brainer. Then add price point and your players and you can go from there. Tiger uses it, need I say more? I’ve never used Mevo. I tend to be guided by PLYR’s as you’ll see in tomorrow’s vid. Hope that helps 👊🏻

It’s still valuable to me and there are plenty of takeaways you can apply to any brand you use. All of these companies make the same version of each iron set, drivers, etc.
So you can find the equivalent set in any brands offering. It’s also pretty likely he might choose a lot of these clubs if he weren’t sponsored.
I have partnerships for my channel (totally different hobby) and chose them because it’s who I would buy if I were to spend my own money. The fact that I get it for free doesn’t change the fact it’s who I would be using either way.
Most people choose the brands they want to work with. He could just as easily sign with any brand but stays with Taylor made 🤷🏻♂️
