Coming from an EXO-L, I don’t think you need to be worried about reacting to them. I love everyone in this group a lot! Yes, SM didn’t do things the right way but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that these are very talented artists! Enjoy it :)

As an Exo-L and Nctzen, this group was everything to me. It was my comfort and I love them to pieces! I'd love to see you guys get into them, the music, the variety shows, the live clips or fancam. Please don't pay attention to people, that are in this life just to hate. Keep going and react to each of their groups as well, THEY ARE AMAZING!
We don't know if we will have the opportunity to see the guys together again, and that makes my heart hurt. But when I see new people finding out about them, it makes me a bit happier. I will wait for you guys reaction to more superM, Shinee, WayV, NCT and exo

I remember when SuperM were getting a lot of pushback and I know the boys felt a lot of pressure because of it (which I don't think was fans' intention but it still had an effect on them). Baekhyun said he could understand the critiques and the doubts but that we didn't have to worry because they would win confidence and fans by showing what they could deliver.
And in my opinion, they delivered big time! Not in the way that anyone planned of course but in a very important way nonetheless. They were only running around and super busy from Oct 2019 - Feb 2020 so only about 6 months of active touring and promotion before the world shut down.
I think they are a great thing (even if they don't come back although I still hold out hope they will) for a few reasons:
- it brought new fans to all of the groups over the long term. People who only first saw them during those few months eventually went on to be fans of all the members and their work.
- they made some great music and that should never be downplayed. Their 2020 album Super One is especially wonderful.
- it created some amazing friendships that I think we will still see play out over the years and hopefully more collaboration in lots of ways
- most important (to me anyway) was how they boys worked their asses off to stay in touch with fans and give encouragement and strength during a really difficult year. They were the first virtual concert SM did (and they got SOOOO much criticism for it saying it was just a money grab and then everyone shut up when so many other groups did exactly the same thing in an effort to have some kind of concerts during lockdowns/restrictions) and they did so many live broadcasts and so much variety content. Their variety shows were an absolute hoot and I am so grateful that I had those times to laugh until my face hurt. During a year (and more) when so many, including our family, were going through a really rough patch, SuperM was virtually alongside me. Their music was in my ears and I watched their shows again and again for the uplift (and I still do). If that kind of good influence is not a reason to celebrate music and kpop, I don't know what is.

Mark Lee is everywhere. SM put him in everygroup. That baby need also rest but I'm still happy he get all the work and appreciation he deserve.
superm did do concerts. they actually debuted in LA and had an American Tour. I got to see them about three years ago and it was the best experience of my life, to see all of my ults come together and demolish the stage!😭 the next song i definitely recommend to see by them next is ONE. this song is a combination of two songs on their mini album and it creates a perfect masterpiece, you honestly wouldn’t think it’s two songs. superm also has reacted to their music videos so i also recommend checking that out as well.

Let me gush about their accomplishments:
Their debut mini album reached #1 on BB200 and their 1st Full Album reached #2 on BB200 chart. An astonishing feat considering the absolute hate they got from their originating group fandoms.
They deserve the accolades for being such amazing artists. I’d also like to thank the fans for supporting them.
SuperM is wonderful. There are always haters. I wish they would release some new music. Enjoy them and don’t worry about people with negative attitudes. Don’t let them dictate what you listen to.
You guys ✨need✨ to react and know more about SHINee (and their solo projects, to understand why Taemin is the idol of the idols). Their impact in Kpop industry was a pivot point.

I understand why exo-l hate SuperM and I despise SM the company as much as anyone, but this group did make some very good music, especially their first mini. I say react to whatever, ignoring SuperM’s existence isn’t going to change the fact the group existed and they made bops. Their music is quintessential kpop

SuperM's entire concept and storyline is connected to EXO's storyline. The Kai and Baekhyun you see in SuperM are the same characters from EXO's storyline. SuperM is like another chapter in EXO's story.
SuperM features 7 of the best of the best when it comes to dance, vocals, rap and performance in Kpop. The members of SuperM are some of the top artists from SM Entertainment's most popular groups. As you know, Baekhyun, who is one of the best vocalist in the industry, and *Kai, who is one of the top 2 dancers in the industry, are from EXO; *Taemin is the other top dancer, with one of the most well respected solo careers, and he is a member of the legendary group SHINee; Taeyong is the leader of NCT, and he is a main rapper and dancer, and Mark is the main rapper and dancer from NCT-U/NCT-127; Ten is the main dancer and lead vocalist of NCT-U/WayV; and Lucas is a former rapper and visual of NCT-U/WayV.
As we have seen in several of EXO's MVs, it looks as though the EXO members may be trapped within a maze or labyrinth by the Red Force and they are unable to break free. However, in many of their MVs it looks as though Baekhyun has been able to avoid the Red Force's control. And in EXO's "For Life" MV we see Kai get in a car and drive away from the building -- which we think is the bar that we see the EXO members hanging out in in EXO's "Sing For You" MV -- which could be where the EXO members are currently trapped. Because Kai's superpower is teleportation, we think he may have been able to get away or escape as well. Therefore, I think Kai and Baekhyun are recruiting members of SM's other groups to help them defeat the Red Force and rescue the members of EXO who are still trapped. I think SuperM are supposed to be coming together to fight the Red Force and to prevent or stop the Red Force from corrupting and taking over the world, etc.
The concept for SuperM is supposed to be like the Avengers, so I see it as each of the members are a different kind of superhero that make up the larger "Avengers" group. Just like how the Marvel Avenger members come together from all walks of life with all different abilities and powers, etc. to make up one big supergroup, SuperM has a similar storyline.
Therefore, I think the concept of SuperM all stems from EXO's concept and storyline. As you know, the members of EXO are all supposed to be aliens from Planet Exo, and each of the members has a superpower that is specific to them. From day one, EXO's story has been that they were sent to Earth on a mission to find and protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force, while also trying to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, which are thought to be caused by the Red Force. As a member of EXO, you see Kai teleport at the beginning of "Jopping" and you see Baekhyun using his power to control light as the car speeds away, etc.
However, the concept of superpowers is new for all the other SuperM members. (You will see the other member's special powers and abilities if you check out all of SuperM's teaser trailer videos, which were originally released leading up to the release of their debut.)
Just like the Marvel Avengers members each have their own superhero story, when they come together to form the Avengers, they combine their stories and concepts and weave elements of each of the members' backstories into the Avengers storyline. I think SuperM is doing the same thing. And, like the Marvel Avengers who come together to combine their strengths and powers to help fight the evil villain Thanos, I see parallels with what SM is doing with SuperM's story. SuperM is taking members from each group and joining forces to take down the Red Force.
Similar to how the Hollywood movies "Avengers Identity War" and "Avengers Endgame" eventually had each of the Marvel Avengers members recruiting their whole crew to help in the fight, I think SM is setting it up so that all of the company's groups' members will eventually be brought into the conflict.
And although NCT and SHINee don't have a backstory that has anything to do with being superheroes in the same way as EXO does, I find it interesting that, for example, NCT and WayV have songs called "Superhuman" and "Take Off," which both have sort of superhero type themes in their MVs; and one of Ten's solo songs is called "New Heroes". With what I know about SM, it wouldn't surprise me that this is something they have had in the works for a really long time and they probably have been creating ways to foreshadow things to come in SuperM that connect SuperM's story to each of the members' original groups. One thing SM has mastered since the creation of EXO, is how to tell a story and how to create a mystery that connects even the most minute of details together to build an epic adventure for fans.
SuperM's storyline is already connected to EXO's storyline, and I think SM may be working on expanding the story to its other groups, in the same way that "the Avengers" connects all the individual superheroes' stories when they come together to form the Avengers.
For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with their MV for "Moonwalk" and I think the story in their "Moonwalk" MV is a continuation of "Jopping's" storyline, and now I think WayV's "Turn Back Time" and "Kick Back" MVs are also part of that story.
There are parts of several of WayV's MVs where it looks as though Ten and Lucas are there to gather their members to bring them into the battle, and in "Turn Back Time" it looks like the WayV members are all beat up like they have been in a fight, which means they could have been in a battle with the Red Force, etc.
In other words, I think EXO are working with the SuperM members to try and stop X-EXO. If you pay attention to what Kai and Baekhyun are wearing in "Jopping," their outfits are very similar to the all-black outfits they are wearing in EXO's "Obsession " MV -- Kai even wears the same parachute backpack in both MVs -- which seems to indicate then that the version of Kai and Baekhyun in SuperM are the EXO members who are the good guys. Because in "Obsession" the members in all black are supposed to be EXO and the members in the colorful outfits with the crazy hair and makeup are the X-EXO clones who have been created by the Red Force.
So, on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third and fourth generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together, there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa and maybe even Taemin's solo work, and possibly even SHINee. Even though SHINee are second gen., the members actually are around the same age as the members of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen.
And now I see connections being made with SHINee's "Don't Call Me" and "Atlantis" MVs, and even their new "Hard" MV storyline, as well as all of aespa's MVs and many of NCT's MVs -- most of WayV's MVs and even NCT-127's "Save" MV, etc.-- and now I think it even extends to SM's older groups, such as Kangta's "Free To Fly" MV, Super Junior's "House Party" MV, Max Changmin from TVXQ's solo "Devil" MV and U-Know from TVXQ's new solo "Nexus, Reality Show" MV, etc. It's becoming clear that SM is designing the SM Universe to include all of its groups and it is tying all of their storylines together.
For instance, if you watch SHINee's "Don't Call Me" MV you will see the SHINee members at one point go through some sort of wormhole as they are teleported somewhere and we see them all standing together in all black outfits. That scene looks very similar to the scene in "Jopping" when the SuperM members are coming together at the beginning of the MV as they are teleported or travel through the wormhole. So, it looks like maybe SHINee are preparing to eventually join in the fight as well.
Baekhyun high note at the end is the highlight for me 😌

There is also an SM girls super group called Got the beat. They have members from Red Velvet, Aespa, Girls Generation and BoA. They are not as huge as SuperM but if you are interested, you can check out their songs - I think they have 1 single & a mini album so far.

One of their songs that i always recommend is Better Days. It doesn't have an MV but it does have a live performance. It is emotional and amazing.

Hi an exol here!! I enjoy Superm a lot. I would like you to react to kai and baekhyun interactions with the members of superM. Mark adores Kai and Taeyong laughs at everthing Baekhyun does. Kai and Taemin ( brothers). I think the best part of this group are the bonds that this project formed. Eveyone was tired already from their own group promotions but they really did their best for the fans. There is a lot of content in their channel and Mtiopia in youtube to react. I'm from Perú so english is not my first language.
I was at their concert in London right before the lock down, end of February 2020, it was my first ever kpop concert and I realised that Europe isn't ready to handle it, O2 arena had a sound crash down from the first song 😅
It was my first year as Exo-L and I admit that I was very concerned about our boys, flying over the continents to follow schedules for two groups, but then I heard Baekhyun that it was their own decision to be part of Super M , but, although them was promised a freedom of opinion, it wasn't the case after all, Baekhyun said in a show that, when he tried to express himself , he was scolded instead.
Imagine that energy but like x10... plus Baekhyun's funny and Mark's charming, and Kai's smirk, and then all the extras.... Taemin Danger live is fabuloso...

If you want to get to know Taemin first he has a long solo career: I would recommend: Guilty, Move, Want, Criminal and Idea
It DEFINITELY seemed like Baek and Kai in particular struggled. 2 tours simultaneously. Kau couldn't keep weight and kept getting sick. Baekhyun too. You can see the fatigue on stage. And then with COVID, things just fell apart... then Lucas. Still, you can't NOT see the elevated skill sets. They were a gift I got to see live. I'll never forget it.
SM artists in general are such forces both in vocals and dance in general. Hope you can also react to their monster rookies RIIZE 🧡

A super fun and light hearted video to react to is SuperM takes a friendship test by Glamour! I would def keep reacting to SuperM. For what they are, they're fun to check out. One of the members Ten (originaly from WayV) actually made his official solo debut yesterday. Ten would be a great solo artist to check out& I hope you'll guys will be able to check out WayV in the future since they're the only NCT unit you guys haven't reacted to.
The thing with SuperM is that at the time any group that released a song with a lot of English or promoted in America some people compared it to BTS despite BTS wasn’t the first to promote in America but that what ended up happening anyway and a lot of fans of BTS weren’t happy at all, add to that how some other EXO members akgaes (toxic solo fans) at first were upset at sm saying they why kaibaek specifically chosen & they started trending hashtag with hate toward the group then for like hours trolls from other fandoms jumped on the hashtag making it bigger so SuperM members saw it and were upset by it
SuperM as a whole were really misunderstood like the whole super group / super unit thing isn’t new to music industry, groups and bands in the west and everywhere do it all the time & sm actually had units before SuperM like sm the performance and sm the ballad units one to focus on dancing and one on power ballads and showcasing vocals & both units did fine before; add to that sm for the longest time promoted mainly in Asia and one of sm biggest markets was China and after the issue between China & Korea they decided to start doing more promotions in America and american company Capitot Records told SM to make the deal of handling american promotions for some sm groups is by doing a super group made of members from already existing groups and have them promote first as unit which will work as a way to introduce western or American market of new kpop fans to these groups and at the same time to see how marketing would go if it is successful or not. They did great despite the issues I mentioned before and they toured for a bit but the pandemic halted all their activities and messed things up for them and by the end of 2021 then capitol records made weird decisions regarding choosing promotions time for the group to clash with taemin own solo comeback then later with nct comeback so like people naturally chose to support their main groups / artists comebacks then the pandemic didn’t end shortly so at one point it stopped things completely for them then baekhyun and Taemin enlistment happened so like yeah
Adding to that the biggest one who loved making these super groups / super unit in sm was sm founder Lee sooman and with him leaving the company the chances of superm to be back is slim also the groups are very active so it’s doubtful that they will focus on superm again unless if they released random singles here and there
Just to mention they were compared to BTS especially in the west .. but not because of the amount of English in the songs, just as SMs way to rival their popularity. Jopping july 2019 (eng song) was released almost a year before BTS released Dynamite August 2020.
In an interview, Kai said that every time he talked to Mark he remembered D.O. because although it may seem strange to us, according to him they are very similar, their way of being, and that since he adores D.O when he was with Mark he remembered him... 😂😂

This is one of the best songs from superM, and it's great to watch what this group accomplished even though they are not currently active. I think you should definitely dive more into NCT and WayV as they have so much to offer.
Even if the forming of SuperM was not completely happy, but I'm still happy to see reactions for them! They are fantastic together. And yes many of us are still rooting for Shinee reactions 😊 but I'm pretty confident you guys will get to them eventually. It's unavoidable.
SuperM in NYC (Nov 2019) was actually my first ever K-pop concert. It was an amazing experience plus it was on my birthday which was pretty cool :)

Some of the fans from the home groups are big mad about SuperM's general existence. SuperM was literally apart of getting me into kpop and then into those home groups and I love them all, so I obviously have a different experience. I also love that SuperM gave Kai and Taemin, who are best friends, the chance to be in a group together. "SuperM Supporters" seems to be the "official" fandom name and nope, refuse 😆 I love MarkYong, such a good duo. I hope. I HOPE when Kai and Taeyong are done with their enlistment that SuperM does comeback but I don't know if that will happen.
I think you'll really enjoy SHINee when you get to it, they have fantastic and fun music. I love WayV and Ten just had a solo debut and has several previous solo singles

Their interactions in the group are very funny. It was very interesting to watch their MTopia show. Ten follows Taemin around, Taeyoung is a fan of Baek, and Mark and Lucas are Kai's boys. On top of all that, all of k-pop knows Kai and Taemin's close friendship. So they're all twisted up in there.

I don’t know if you guys gonna see my comment or not because there are many comments here lol but to explain about SHINee; they don’t have a storyline; each album has it own concept
As for Taemin he does have his own little concept and running theme across most of his mvs but it has no relation to SuperM nor with other groups. That running theme is basically about “finding true self”, reflection on fame, push and pull of opposing yet equal forces usually two versions of him then mix that theme with temptation, religion, mythology and philosophy
Also if you gonna react to SHINee please don’t start with ringdingdong they hate that song and it was forced on them by the company at the time, it also doesn’t reflect their music at all, it’s just very catchy & iconic in a fun meme way that it has most music video views but it really doesn’t reflect their music at all, if you want a recommendation on SHINee music I would suggest ( view, married to the music, tell me what to do or Sherlock ) as an introduction to them especially Sherlock it’s super iconic song
I saw SuperM in concert in Seattle on February 4th, 2020! I know a lot of people don’t like them but as a EXO-L and a fan of the other groups involved, of course I want to support the hard work they all put into the group! 😊😊

I personally enjoyed SuperM. I got to see them at the New York show during their US tour. I can understand the issues that some fans had at the time, especially when it seemed like SM were running the boys ragged, although I do think some of the backlash at the time was a bit excessive. But I think they really clicked by Tiger Inside, and Super One was one my go to albums keeping me sane during the pandemic. I think it is a bit of a shame that there probably won’t be anything else, or if there is, not in this configuration. I would have liked to see them go a bit longer.
I like SuperM. I guess is because SM been doing groups by mixing members of other groups since forever. Kai was in another mash group Youniq (I think it was written like that) Chen actually debuted first in "SM the ballad" even before debuting in EXO. 😊

Ten had a concert showcase the other day for his first solo album and Lucas was there sitting with Mark and his 127 members Johnny and Jaehyun so I think he's being slowly reintroduced. I doubt he'll go back to WayV but he may debut as a soloist this year sometime

Covid really had the worst timing when it comes to Super M ....I do hope they will come back as soon as Kai finishes his service and as well as Taeyong does his.
Btw there is also a female version of a supergroup in SM...called Got the beat. Wondering when they will have a comeback again as well.
EDIT: thats why I also love SM Town since we get collab stages within SM artists which is cool. People can say about SM whatever they want and some things are deserved criticisms but SM has some nice concept and have a mash up between artists was always kind of a thing.

I think that the "Tiger Inside" MV may be connected to EXO's "Wolf" MV. In "Wolf" we see that EXO are a wolf pack that is dressed in all white and they are inside an all white den or cave, just like the SuperM members who are dressed in all white and are in a white cave/the tigers lair in "Tiger Inside." And in "Wolf" the choreography was designed to make the EXO members look like they are wolves or beasts, where in "Tiger Inside" the choreography was also designed to make them look like beasts or tigers.
Fun fact: That breakout dance move with Taeyong and Mark in the choreography, doesn't just go along with the beat, but when you watch the dance practice you will see it's supposed to be Taeyong trying to assert his dominance and battle with Mark. Taeyong elbows Mark in the head, which causes him to stumble, then Taeyong pushes him away with his hand (i.e. paw), which causes Mark to spin around to face Taeyong and then Taeyong raises his claws above his head and strikes out at Mark to cause Mark to step away, etc. I think they are supposed to look like tigers preparing for battle with the Red Force, so they are practicing their fighting skills.
The outfits they are wearing at the end are modern versions of traditional Korean outfits and blue, white and gold is usually royal colors that often indicates status and power. Nothing is "random." That end pose is similar to an image you often see in historical dramas or action movies as the heroes or main characters are getting ready for battle. It's all part of SuperM's storyline and it gives you a good chance to really look at them and get to know their faces better.
So, this is just another reason why I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups.
However, as you know, no one really knows what is happening for sure in SM's Universe storyline. It's all fan theories and educated guesses. SM has never confirmed nor denied any of our theories and they have never explained anything. They have left it up to the fans to interpret the story and connect the pieces. And what makes this even more difficult is the story isn't being told in chronological order, so as fans you have to pay attention to everything and remember what you have seen and heard in previous content in order to decide where each piece fits within the larger storyline. And, as you have seen, it's not just MVs, but it's with everything they do including teaser videos, concert VCRs (short videos played at concerts in between sets), live performances, song lyrics, online content released by SM, special extras included when you purchase an album, etc. It's super complex and all encompassing.
This was such a fun debut. This was my hype gym song for a while. But also I am excited for you to get into the female Super Group from SM "GOT The Beat"
SuperM did do live shows, it was an amazing opportunity where they made their concert cheap since they were first starting out and performed around America. I was able to go to their Dallas show and it is the closest I have gotten to an Exo member😭 I don’t even believe I’ll be able to see Exo at their actual concert😭😭😭

Actually i dont hate sm for being experimental things and fun fact. Taemin from shinee and KAI MYguy are besties like they want be on the same group but taemin got debut first . I was so happy that the two join the group together even its teporary ❤

One of the best debut besides Exo's Mama 😭❤️ I don't care what everyone say. SuperM didn't deserve the hate they got, their concept was actually good and as members from already established groups they had an upper hand in certain fields like vocals, rapping, dancing, stage presence which is much better to watch than watching little mistakes rookie groups make.
@alongfortheridereacts Thank you, Simon! I *did* spend extra time on my elbows. Mark's verse in "Jopping" joined his verses in "7th Sense" and "Cherry Bomb" as top Mark Lee verses of all time. Perhaps NCT U for reactions soon? Also, you *will* need to brace yourselves for Shinee. The catalog is expansive and excellent, and it could be overwhelming.

As a shawol I really hope you will someday get around to SHINee, they're in the same age range as EXO members they just debuted younger and all 5 of them have incredible solo albums too. It's definitely intimidating to get into an older group because their discography is so huge (2008 debut) and it can be difficult to know where to begin because nearly every single title track of theirs is a different genre. My personal favourites to start with are Sherlock as it's so iconic and Married To The Music as it's one of their most fun mvs with a campy spooky concept! Their greatest strength and what really makes them stand out imo is their live performances though, they go hard at their concerts and that's where you'll find their spicy side too haha
I would argue that "double entendre" is an English word at this point even if we still pronounce "entendre" in a French-ish way, and therefore you can say "double entendre" the way that is natural to you, as an english speaker.
Also I don't have a strong opinion about SuperM's existence either way, but this song in particular has incredible meme value and therefore I do still love it.

SuperM feels extremely manufactured, lab grown, kpop on steroids, lacking soul and umami you know? I get the concept was avengers of kpop and it was meant to be super showy, to show-off as much as possible, and I truly love all of the members in it, they are gorgeous and insanely talented, but I just don’t vibe with the overall sound.
I wasn’t an Exo-L yet when they came out, but my friend who was an Exo-L at the time said it was very difficult seeing for example Baekhyun and Kai literally fly from doing an Exo concert and straight into a SuperM performance in another continent… other fandoms seemed to feel the same way it’s tough seeing your faves being so overworked and stretched thin during this time… and seeing how much money and effort was being thrown into SuperM but SM always comes up short for Shinee Exo and NCT/Wayv…
I tried looking for a SuperM performance that I really liked, and in the end what I enjoyed the most was them simply standing and singing Dangerous Woman. It’s beautiful and their talents and personas come through. Much prefer that than the synthetic feel of Jopping and their other songs.
They knew they'd be busy signing on to do two groups at once so that wasn't a problem for me. These are adults. It's fine for fans to be concerned but many fans baby these grown ups and it's ridiculous lol As for all the other stuff you said. I disagree with except they are amazing
@@JudiChewie but the question is did they even have much of a choice in the first place? Baekhyun was very open about the fact he spent 3 hrs speaking to Lee Sooman about why he didnt want the group to happen and all of that feedback was ignored despite the fact they had asked for it. It’s one thing to baby idols but let’s not go too far the other way and assume they have full control over everything they do. Baekhyun’s lawsuit and the formation of his own label proves there are a lot of issues with SM and the way they treat exo.

Idk who told you that but if you go to the direct source, Baekhyun said he was asked his opinions about SuperM like that and he gave his opinions and he said LSM scolded him once he gave those opinions lol He never went into details other than that. Scolding isn't always meant in a cruel way. Jimin in BTS for examplesays Jungkook scolds him for things lol Like it's so confusing why people automatically assumed that Baekhyun meant LSM yelled at him and cursed him out lmao Why are people assuming that? LSM is the one who had a huge photo of Baek put up in the SM halls. As shady as that man is, he gave Baek so many gifts lol
Aside from that, I mean grown ups sometimes get "scolded" by their bosses. That's life. It's not a big deal unless it's turns abusive and anybody that is familiar with Baekhyun knows he does not put up with sh*t. He would not allow himself to be mistreated if LSM was always speaking to him in a nasty way but obviously that wasn't the case.
As far as being forced, Baekhyun literally said he was not going to agree to be in the group if it was short term meaning he had the option to decide not to do it if it was not going to be long term.
I don't understand why fans assume things and then react like those assumptions are factual.
We know nothing about how badly the scolding was, for all we know it could've been LSM scolding in a playful manner about Baekhyun's extreme honesty with his opinions about the music or direction or promo. Baek even mentioned it in a joking manner. Don't get why fans think that's their business to begin with. That convo was between two adults who can handle their working relationship.
@@EXOluv98 yes because people typically get scolded for positive feedback. Look, I don’t want to pretend the Baek is some helpless baby cause he’s a grown man who can handle himself. The fact he was scolded for the feedback he gave over three hours shows he had misgivings about the group. Pointing that out and citing it as a reason for not wanting to support the group is not babying him.
We know now that Baekhyun, along with CBX and probably all other exo members, was trapped in a slave contract that had built-in loopholes to extend the contract period indefinitely and that he wasn’t being paid fairly for his work. Once again, I don’t think people being sceptical about how much freedom exo have over their careers is babying them. All I said was that we shouldn’t necessarily assume an idol has full control over everything they do.
