I've rarely seen someone take that moment right as they finish a project to just take in what they've made. You have such pride in your work, it's infectious, it makes me want to practice and make things. Thank you for sharing this
I love leatherwork since i took it in high school in the 70’s: i am glad to find your channel watching you work and instruct is soothing. What the world needs are more artisans. You are one of the best! Keep it up. I subscribed hopefully i will get back to the craft of leatherwork again
Your videos are always the most soothing out there. Even your punches are gentle. Like the nickel a little more than brass, although both are nice on the Dopp kit.
Thank you for this video. I very much appreciate the peacefulness you exude. You always inspire me to create. Thank you for being generous with your expertise.
Man it’s good to see you again my friend! It’s been a long time. I haven’t been able to work on leather or forging since last we spoke. A lot has transpired since then. I’ve had several set backs. We will survive!!!
Personally I would be very happy with either one. Kinda like the brass best, reminds me of harness. Thanks for new video, good to know you are still among us!
I've been watching your video's and desiring to leather craft. Please don't stop teaching through this platform. Also. I am planning to purchase the tools that I will need from your store. Thanks for caring for the newbie. Hugs.
I think the brass looks better with that particular color of leather. Amazing work. I've been doing leather working for 16 years and always watch other folks ply their craft. I'm always learning new things and making new discoveries in the craft. This is great, thank you.
Hello to you both. My Chartermade hat is still my go to lid. Been months since I had found a new leather video that interested me. Tonight was a pleasant surprise and I realized how long it had been since I’d seen a new video from you…and this did not disappoint. New project on the horizon. PDF here I come. Christmas is just around the corner.
Hey Stephen. We are so glad you enjoyed the video :). Thanks for all your support and encouragement Stephen. We would love to see the pics of your dopp kit what you have complete it.

Regarding your query about hardware preference, as an amateur silversmith, I almost always prefer silver, however, for that beautiful saddle colour leather, I feel that genuine brass is more suitable and classic. I’m pretty sure my son will want to make this Dopp kit for his dad (and probably one for himself). I’m going to order some of your patterns and possibly some of your knives. A Scout (son and hubs) always loves a good knife. :-)
I have been looking for a project like this. Great video!! I very happily bought this pattern from you today!! I also snagged your apron pattern!! Ive been enjoying your content! for a while, but never sub'd. Changed that today too.

Want to make a lot of money in this trade? I suggest making / offering custom gun holsters for customers. You won't be able to keep up if they're really nice. Maybe start making custom Bond Arms Derringer holsters. Huge market for holsters with some customization.
Thanks for the film. I have learnt so much from watching all your films, it is great to see someone else who loves leather craft! Keep up the amazing work and stay well :-)
Afternoon, trying to purchase the pattern in the states and doesnt appear there is an option for payment for us over here. I tried all available options.
Ethics question - I am new to leatherwork. I get inspired by everyone. For personal use I plan to adapt your design to custom dimensions and add a handle to hold my sharpening stones. My question, when are you ripping an artist off (unethically) and when are your using others for inspiration to improve your skills. I want to get better so I watch a lot of leather crafters. I want to get better but I don't want to be a cheap hack. Right now a cheap hack is all I am. Other than copyright, what are your boundaries for barrowing inspiration from other people's ideas/ design's. Thanks for your time, and cheers.
Love what you do and how you instruct, but please NO MUSIC. I’m finding it very challenging to follow what you’re saying and I’m definitely not a fan of music in between (I continuously have to turn down the volume and then back up again). I’m not sure why so many TH-camrs do this. If you were teaching a class in person, would you play music while you’re talking and/or have it come on louder in between sentences? I can pretty much guarantee that none of us (followers) would stop watching if you didn’t have music and I’m certain that some [more] of us would happily “tune in” (yes, pun intended) if you create your wonderful and informative videos without it. I just needed to get this of my chest. ;-) PS- I realize that you don’t have music playing all the way through this video so I’m mainly referring to others of yours that I’ve watched.

Thank you for this video, I will definitely follow for this!
Wow! :) Thanks!
Excellent project but the knives are exquisite. The only one missing from my bench is the trim knife.
Thank you for your kind words :) ...We look forward to sending you your trim knife ;)

I like the nickel.
Thank you. Nice to see you back online! We’re in Darwin Australia. How can we order your knives & get more info on sharpening knives?
Did you make the Stitching Pony? It looks handmade. Beautiful.
Can we see you make a shoulder duffel bag, like the one we see behind you? Your videos are awesome!
Thank you very much for teaching us. Amazing lessons here. Where did you get you stamp made?
It’s been a long time, nice to have you back.
M yprefernce? Brass, I like the silver color but nickel plated does not look pleasing.

I've been looking for old pattern state prisoners used to make for a make up train case can't find anywhere 😊
Downsize that just a bit and add straps and that would make a beautiful purse!
Thanks for the film. I have learnt so much from watching all your films, it is great to see someone else who loves leather craft! Keep up the amazing work and stay well :-)
Terrick. Do you not also sell your handmade leather works? I’m looked at your website but I don’t see anything for sale. Only your knives.
Which stone do you recommend?
Afternoon, trying to purchase the pattern in the states and doesnt appear there is an option for payment for us over here. I tried all available options.
We the leather craft students are missing the Master Artisan's classes for two years😥
Thank you for the encouraging messaging. We getting set up to start videos in our new workshop.

sigh.. How about you let the video creators, create their own videos. You can always turn the volume down and use subtitles.
