In the novel, Kit Fisto did actually hold his own against Palpatine, he died due to the fact that he was distracted by Anakin's arrival.
So much better then the insta death in the film.

One minor flaw in this what if. Palpatine had installed a contingency order in the clones that Anakin Skywalker was not to be killed. Therefore, the clones would not be shooting at him, which, after a brief moment, would give Anakin an immediate advantage that he needed to quickly start, pushing the cones back in favor of the Jedi
Here is an idea that I thought might be interesting to explore? What if Palpatine's goal with the Clone Wars wasn't the destruction of the Jedi but to harden the Jedi for war? My thinking has to do with those aliens introduced in post Return of the Jedi lore. I think they're called the Yuuzhan Vong. So my idea is that ever since Palpatine has been aware of his connection to the Force he's had visions of the entire destruction of the galaxy at the hands of the Yuuzhang Vong. Every vision he beheld of the future showed the same thing. Whether he joined the Jedi, rebuilt the Sith of old. Nothing worked.
Except when he remembered that at one time the Jedi weren't merely peecekeepers, but were warriors. So he comes up with the idea of strengthening the Jedi via a crucible. Namely the Clone Wars. But that isn't enough. Hardening the followers of the Light Side isn't enough. The Dark are needed just as much as the Light. So, basically, my thinking is that the Prophecy about bringing balance to the Force isn't the extirpation of the Sith from the Galaxy or the massacre of the Jedi so there are only two of each left. No, the prophecy is about finally uniting the Dark and Light in a single purpose, for that would be the only way for the galaxy to survive.
At least I think it might be a cool idea. So in this story, Palpatine is actually the chosen one and his ultimate goal to take over the galaxy isn't to take power for its own sake (though it is a nice benefit) but to lead the galaxy against the coming enemy and ensure its survival in whole.
Perhaps the Death Star can still be part of his plans, but the purpose being a lot less dark. Instead of being the Death Star, it's the Great Bastion. A last line of defense sent to relieve worlds under siege by the Yuuzhan Vong. It doesn't have a planet destroying superlaser, but is equipped with fleet killing munitions, massive hospital and triage facilities and can send massive relief forces to help and aid billions when necessary.
I like the sound of this.

I'm glad to see your recent focus on Anakin. He can go down many paths that no other character can. And that's the compelling part of his character. Anything can change from Canon and the galaxy would be different and so would the destiny of Anakin Skywalker.

what if anakin (post-vader) could go back in time after his reformation to the light after episode 6? sort of like an isekai plot line. but he had his thoughts and behaviors as he was as a freshly reformed vader. having anakin re-explore his past events would be fascinating for a multi-episode plot line to change the jedi and go against his destiny and bring another version of true balance. lot of room to build and add on for different character interactions. like talking to qui gon about the cons of the order and potentially trying to save qui gon, could you imagine if anakin uses his connection to the force and trip maul up with a sneaky force push to allow qui gon to one shot maul? He would be like the opposite of darth jar jar lol. anyways, love the content. would love to write collaborative piece with you. Plague is didn’t create anakin in the 1st place he tried and the force retaliated by creating anakin but this would definitely make an interesting what if
1) What if Maul was the chosen one?
2) What if Palpatine loved and cared about Maul as if he were his own son?

In the Clone Wars series he indirectly DID get visions of Order 66 or at least the aftermath of it due to the Son's visions of the future he was able to show him.

I want you to know that like sw galaxy, I love your method of story telling from the standpoint of changing the template often. There’s a bunch of channels that base their work off of 2 templates and just route their story there or barely stray away and then essentially tell the audience to just figure it out yourselves.

of course, a prophecy could be interpreted in several ways. It doesn't need to be that way that he is the one who kills the Sith. But his actions set things in motion that lead to the Sith's defeat. If you take that weird fan fiction (called Episode 7-9) seriously, than he wasn't even the chosen one as he didn't do anything that lead to the Sith's destruction.

I really enjoyed where you took this. Not everything is okay but it's definitely a "better" outcome than what happened originally. Though I am wondering where the Jedi would have settled instead of Coruscant and how, if any, their rules/code would have changed. An idea I had was: What if Mara survived being attacked by Jacen? Also What if Obi-Wan raised and trained Luke? Thanks for continuing to give us such great content.
They would probably have reverted to the old ways of the Jedi, with small enclaves scattered around the galaxy instead of having all of their eggs in one basket.

I think my problem with most of the good/happy ending that it the mostlu jedi view of bring balance to the force which is wrong dark and light need to be balanced not only light.
A Jedi Knight's Padawan becoming a Jedi Knight is not what determines recognition as a Jedi Master. It takes more than that to earn the title.
