I always viewed that Anakin & Vader were two split personalities & souls fighting for control over the same body, like Banner & the Hulk or Jekyll & Hyde.
I feel this way too, and I think what supports it is the comm call between Vader and Sidious in episode V where they’re talking about Anakin as if he’s someone totally different than Vader, and they talk about him in the past tense. They believe Anakin is truly “dead” and Vader is in control now.

But no, I do doubt it would have the same effect as the RotJ scene, you're right about that. At the same time, the answer is simple, make the focus more on plagueis or sidious than on Anakin or Vader. If you had to focus on them, could always go with Vader as the focus and get him a redemption through Anakin, that could be compelling. At the end of the day, though, very similar premise to this video, so I doubt PPSW will tackle it. He likes his variety, and I can't blame him.

I have three words for this video. This. IS. AWESOME! The journey of Anakin and Vader through adolescence as different people and having Vader more power is more terrifying than he was as Anakin Skywalker. I like this Vader because he is more intelligent and more cunning and ruthless, and what makes some horrifying he's qualms about morality; even as a child, he straight up kills Darth Maul. This make Vaders a complete monster with no remorse, and he relishes people's death, similar to Grevious. I was confused about why Vader couldn't use the death of Palpatine as an opportunity to seize control of the CIS and make himself Supreme Commander of the Separatist forces. Hey, it's your story, and I respect that, and this is a beautiful masterpiece, Mr. Pente Patrol. Please keep up the fantastic work, and may the force be with you!

My theory is that when anakin burned it wasnt as much the limbs that he lost that severed his connection to the force, but the burns. Seeing as how we have seen many characters lose limbs and lose no force potential
Originally, Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker were going to be separate people, and that Vader did indeed betray and kill Anakin. Also, Darth Vader was going to be his name, and not his title, but it works too well, as he is a dark wizard clad in black armor who happens to be Luke and Leia's father. Heck, the name "Darth Vader" was going to be that of an minor Imperial officer, but the name was too badass for a side character. Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker were made the same person, because otherwise, ESB and ROTJ would become too bloated. And that iconic plot twist, even though the fact that it's iconic and decades old means it no longer has any of the surprise it once had, back in the day, I'm sure everybody who saw Empire Strikes Back when it came out were like, "Wait, WHAT?!"
I remember one time I once had a thought about what if Luke Skywalker traveled back in time to the clone wars and Anakin traveled to the galactic civil war that ended up with a final duel between Anakin and Vader and how the fate of the galaxy actually depends on that fight while Luke actually just helps with the front lines on the clone wars.
Interestingly, a marvel comic that came out before empire strikes back actually has a plot point that Ben Kenobi had two apprentices, Skywalker and Vader. Essentually the three jedi saved an alien race from destruction during the clone wars. Vader would later use their gratitude to get them to swear alliegance to the Empire. Some of them had a prophecy that Skywalker would come back, and free them. Of course A skywalker, Luke, did. Of course after the big revelation, it was retconned as a third Jedi with kenobi and skywalker, but I found it interesting.

This is not so far from cannon, actually. In a New Hope they were separate people. That is why Obi-wan refers to Vader as Darth ( his name being Darth Vader) instead of Darth being a title. Only after the first movie was a success did they delve more into the backstory of Luke's family and we got the famous "I am your father" line. They tried to cover this plot hole in Kenobi when Obi-wan calls Anakin Darth after proclaiming that his friend is truly dead but it was done after the fact and it didn't work perfectly.

It wouldn't really change much in this story, but I think it would fit better for Asoka to be trained by Obi Wan instead of him training some unspecified jedi knight. Thanks for the story regardless.
Keep this idea but have the two slowly switch sides and abilities. And as the switch they loose abilities that they originally they gain abilities that each other had lost.
Then Vader would completely destroy Luke in their duel in ESB as he has zero emotional connection to him and may only let him live to serve as his apprentice. ROTJ wouldn't end the same way and Luke would die. Vader and the Emperor would still die as well as the Falcon would likely still destroy the main reactor core of the Second Death Star. Assuming Anakin was quite literally killed by Obi-Wan's newer apprentice Vader in the fall of the Jedi as Obi-Wan described in A New Hope.
Now that would be a true balance of the force prohecy. Two opposing forces equal in potential and power locked in an eternal battle. One shall stand, One will fall.
I feel like anakin would become friends with kenobis new apprentice kinda sad they weren't mentioned at all since kenobi would definitely have asked quigon for guidance quite often.

What if Sabine Wren is force sensitive? What if Luke fell in love with Sabine Wren? What if Sifo-dyas trained Anakin? What if Count Dooku's force ghost trained Luke? What if Valorum was never removed from office? What if Darth Bane trained Anakin?
Qui-Gon was the very first Jedi to ever discover the secret to becoming a Force ghost so the first one is very impossible and the last 6… i uh… no comment. Although the one with Valorum sounds interesting

Here’s an idea, a What If that allows Vader and Anakin to encounter each other, it starts on Mustafar, Anakin and Obi-wan are dueling, but Obi-wan manages to talk sense to Anakin and they stop, they head back to Padme but wasted enough time for Palpatine to arrive who kills Padme and Obi-wan, but as Anakin is about to be killed the Force intervenes and sends Anakin to a timeline like the main one, but after Anakin and Obiwan’s duel, essentially it becomes a redeemed Anakin sent to the prime timeline, up to you if Padme somehow lives or dies, but there you go, Anakin vs Vader. You know when I saw the title of this video…I was expecting something more along the lines of the story of that Old Ben kenobi had told Luke skywalker in a new hope.

This is not so far from cannon, actually. In a New Hope they were separate people. That is why Obi-wan refers to Vader as Darth ( his name being Darth Vader) instead of Darth being a title. Only after the first movie was a success did they delve more into the backstory of Luke's family and we got the famous "I am your father" line. They tried to cover this plot hole in Kenobi when Obi-wan calls Anakin Darth after proclaiming that his friend is truly dead but it was done after the fact and it didn't work perfectly.
I was expecting Obi-Wan to end up telling Luke the truth from a literal point of view. This was a surprise, to be sure... but a welcome one.
I'm surprised no one thought to do this. This was a great story.

What if Barriss Offee killed Anakin in their duel before the end of Ahsoka's trial
How it might play out step by step:
1) Barriss kills Anakin
2) Temple Guards capture Barriss and take her to the trail
3) Bariss admits to crimes and gives a similar speech about how the JEDI have lost way
4) Ahsoka's head is spinning
5) Palpatine/Sidious is P***ed to hear that Anakin is dead, but maybe this situation can be turned to his advantage
6) 50/50 split on whether Ahsoka will quit being a part of the JEDI
7) Bariss gets locked up but after some time gets broken out by Dooku under orders from Sidious
8) Palpatine convinces Ahsoka to go recapture Bariss (actually just setting them up so that one will kill the other, whoever survives will become his new apprentice)
9) Ahsoka is given command of the 501st, after some epic chases, battles and time has passed cue (Duel of Fates) Ahsoka vs Barriss
10) Ahsoka corners/seriously wounds Barriss, Sidious (or Dooku) emerges from the shadows
Sidious: Good Ahsoka good, good, good ... kill her ... kill her now
Ahsoka: (hesitates) I shouldn't
Sidious: DO IT
What happens next, you decide?
This was a battle well into the making, and I’m glad I saw the conclusion! Too bad for obi wan and Ahsoka 😢 92 of what if Anakin Skywalker and Galen Marek were rivals and trained together

Keep this idea but have the two slowly switch sides and abilities. And as the switch they loose abilities that they originally they gain abilities that each other had lost.
Then Vader would completely destroy Luke in their duel in ESB as he has zero emotional connection to him and may only let him live to serve as his apprentice. ROTJ wouldn't end the same way and Luke would die. Vader and the Emperor would still die as well as the Falcon would likely still destroy the main reactor core of the Second Death Star. Assuming Anakin was quite literally killed by Obi-Wan's newer apprentice Vader in the fall of the Jedi as Obi-Wan described in A New Hope.
Now that would be a true balance of the force prohecy. Two opposing forces equal in potential and power locked in an eternal battle. One shall stand, One will fall.

Here’s an idea, a What If that allows Vader and Anakin to encounter each other, it starts on Mustafar, Anakin and Obi-wan are dueling, but Obi-wan manages to talk sense to Anakin and they stop, they head back to Padme but wasted enough time for Palpatine to arrive who kills Padme and Obi-wan, but as Anakin is about to be killed the Force intervenes and sends Anakin to a timeline like the main one, but after Anakin and Obiwan’s duel, essentially it becomes a redeemed Anakin sent to the prime timeline, up to you if Padme somehow lives or dies, but there you go, Anakin vs Vader.
