Then Anakin would have his Jedi thesis written on the dichotomy of the story. His defense of his thesis would lead to a Jedi Master suiciding. In the end, Windu would throw himself out of the window because Anakin kept talking about his thesis.
Tales of the Jedi really did a good job of fleshing out Dooku’s fall. Yaddle’s death in that series wasn’t perfect, but it was still very impactful and it still had a big effect like in Legends.

Dooku was so blissfully unaware that the dark side clearly had its claws in him(As seen in tales of the Jedi). Its a bit ironic that he acts like the Jedi Council is on the wrong path and the Republic is corrupt(I mean it is thanks to Palpatine and Plagueis's help). Perhaps in another timeline he'd realize he was told sweet lies by Palpatine and the death of Qui-gon could of at least made him question where the hell he was going. Oh well
I'm only 6:40 into the story, but I had a what if idea and paused the video to put it in the comments. What if Obi-wan was not granted the rank of Jedi Knight after the death of Qui-gon? What if after the death of Qui-gon another Jedi was assigned to finish training Obi-wan, there are so many possibilities, Dooku, Mace, Yoda, Plo Koon, or any one of a dozen others. This idea could even be blended into a what if Qui-gon didn't die on Naboo, and with Obi-wan not being granted the rank of Jedi Knight he would not have been able to train Anakin which does add a difficulty to the idea of Qui-gon surviving Naboo, but it opens the door for other possibilities, after Qui-gon's encounter with a Sith on Tatooine, what if if instead of Qui-gon and Obi-wan the council sent Count Dooku and Qui-gon, or another Jedi Master instead of Obi-wan, or perhaps in addition to Qui-gon and Obi-wan they sent another Jedi Master. Remember they didn't know if the Sith Qui-gon encountered was the Master or the Apprentice, so it would have made more sense to send 2 Masters instead of 1 Master and 1 Apprentice. Another idea that could be woven into this is what if Obi-wan was stronger with the Force and an empath, this would further facilitate his stills as "The Negotiator" and could really change things. As for this story, I really liked it. When you look at the original trilogy and the prequels there are a lot of political comparisons, so having a central political theme fits. At one point I actually thought you would have a Jedi civil war splitting the Jedi into 2 factions, which I think could be a cool story BTW, but I liked how Dooku teetered between the Light side and the Dark side of the Force. I don't dislike how you had Dooku hide his involvement with Sidious and I can see why you had him do that, but I also see how he could have come clean to the Jedi and then the council and I think Yaddle could have or would have been able to present it to the council in a way that would better show how the old council had been corrupted by the Sith and I can see him being presented to the senators in a way that would allow him to testify against Palpatine, but that is a story for another "what if", I am not criticizing this story, just pointing out things that could be included in a future "what if", so please keep the "what if" stories coming, these are fun.
What if Anakin had visions of order 66 instead of padme dying of childbirth? What if Anakin went undercover instead of obi wan? What if padme was never pregnant? What if tup went to the jedi temple instead of getting the atomic brain scan?
Surely Talzin would still discover maul was alive a decade later and would simply find an alternate way to find him? My personal continuation headcannon would be that a decade later Talzin arranges for the Nightsisters to rescue Maul and restores him after discovering he is still alive. He attempts revenge on Obi wan and faces him and Anakin but fails and his mother advises him to play the long game. She recommends him to the far outer rim to look for an apprentice, with a particular candidate in mind - Asajj Ventress was a nightsister turned slave, trained as an unofficial Jedi padawan before falling to the darkside. Temporarily conquerring her planet, she became trapped as a gladiator but eventually broke free and resiezed control. However, the planet was so remote that the Jedi had not yet caught wind, which is why Ventress' original master had become stranded in the first place. Maul faced and defeated Ventress and took her under his wing, inducting Rattatack into his new order. From his capital on Dathomir, Maul would personally sieze control of various criminal syndicates over the course of several months, including the Hutts, Pykes and Black Sun. Furthermore, he and Ventress would recruit several other factions, including Death Watch, Kaleesh revolutionaries and several seperatism leaning trade federation representatives, businessmen and systems that could provide droids and tunnel funds in exchange for blackmarket deals and protection. This new Shadow Collective would be kept in line by the Nightsisters, and Talzin would advise Maul on all major decisions. Ventress would grow in power and skill in both the Dark Side and Nightsister magic alongside the master, and the two would form a strong sibling like bond. His personal assassin, she would eventually be declared Darth Vindicca. Meanwhile, Maul would also train the Nightbrothers as his personal bodyguards, headed by Brother Viscuss and with Savage Opress, Mauls biological brother, as second in command. The Jedi and Senate would both catch wind of the Shadow Collective however. Alone, both were vulnerable, but together they could crush the Sith+Nightsister conspiracy, but Dooku remained reluctant to enrust the Republic with the clone army. However, the jedi would be breaking the jedi code to fight and lead themselves... This would probs be more of a political drama with smaller scale wars. largely guerrilla. Probs a Game of Thrones feel. But Id love to see the jedi vs republic vs Maul and Talzin Shadow Collective.

It is interesting. When you think about it dooku in the Star Wars Trilogy lost Qui-Gon turns to the dark side and becomes a Sith, Lord Anakin loses his mother and padme and becomes a Sith Lord Darth Vader.

What you're referring to in the end is essentially a vote of non confidence. Most countries have this at least in theory. It is the most stringent in a council republic as any elected member can be taken away their power if they fuck up.
What if Luke and Mara Jade ether recovered or just didn't destroy the Thrawn clone from 'Vision of the Future'. this takes place just 6 years before the start of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion and having Thrawn in play ether with the new republic or leading the Imperial Remnant would i'm sure make things turn out for the better.

The 3,000 year old Kaminoin Jedi was the only Jedi that was alive before Yoda was alive and also on the high counsel. Great story though as always PPSW!! Going through a second listen of them all because they’re so entertaining and some of the base ideas from fan/viewer suggestions (I’ve put a few up over the videos myself and seen a story or two that has come up with some aspects of the ideas, which is awesome to see the creative spin that you make off of the base storylines that give you a base to go off of using the lore to help guide the possibilities (also the alternative universe theory where choices/actions/results differ in situations) of the story to go in so many unique ways. Most of my family/friends who are into Star Wars also can’t get enough of the videos. Funniest story ever was Yoda doing the death sticks that brought harmony & valance in the force even between the Jedi & Sith. Only thing that would’ve made it funnier is to see them send out a master/knight level from each order together so that they can roll in and the Jedi tries to be peaceful but soon as they get an attitude the Sith cooks them for the Jedi to heal them as they detain them. It would definitely make it so the hardened criminals would have a serious deterrent to avoid nearly being cooked alive before being arrested & healed. The newer videos all being 30+ minutes is awesome. It is nice to have the videos come out often but it is also nice to toss on the long ones and not need to mess with the devices while working to go to the next video.
Just imagining dooku dressing up like the queen of naboo during the council disbanding debates saying "I call for a vote of no confidence in the leadership of the council"
I have a feeling that Anakin would still wind up with Padmé eventually. He was in love with her from when he first set eyes on her, so he might wind up doing as Quinlan Vos and Jon Antilles did, and go undercover as a Naboo guard.

This idea could even be blended into a what if Qui-gon didn't die on Naboo, and with Obi-wan not being granted the rank of Jedi Knight he would not have been able to train Anakin which does add a difficulty to the idea of Qui-gon surviving Naboo, but it opens the door for other possibilities, after Qui-gon's encounter with a Sith on Tatooine, what if if instead of Qui-gon and Obi-wan the council sent Count Dooku and Qui-gon, or another Jedi Master instead of Obi-wan, or perhaps in addition to Qui-gon and Obi-wan they sent another Jedi Master. Remember they didn't know if the Sith Qui-gon encountered was the Master or the Apprentice, so it would have made more sense to send 2 Masters instead of 1 Master and 1 Apprentice. Another idea that could be woven into this is what if Obi-wan was stronger with the Force and an empath, this would further facilitate his stills as "The Negotiator" and could really change things.
As for this story, I really liked it. When you look at the original trilogy and the prequels there are a lot of political comparisons, so having a central political theme fits. At one point I actually thought you would have a Jedi civil war splitting the Jedi into 2 factions, which I think could be a cool story BTW, but I liked how Dooku teetered between the Light side and the Dark side of the Force. I don't dislike how you had Dooku hide his involvement with Sidious and I can see why you had him do that, but I also see how he could have come clean to the Jedi and then the council and I think Yaddle could have or would have been able to present it to the council in a way that would better show how the old council had been corrupted by the Sith and I can see him being presented to the senators in a way that would allow him to testify against Palpatine, but that is a story for another "what if", I am not criticizing this story, just pointing out things that could be included in a future "what if", so please keep the "what if" stories coming, these are fun.

Surely Talzin would still discover maul was alive a decade later and would simply find an alternate way to find him? My personal continuation headcannon would be that a decade later Talzin arranges for the Nightsisters to rescue Maul and restores him after discovering he is still alive. He attempts revenge on Obi wan and faces him and Anakin but fails and his mother advises him to play the long game. She recommends him to the far outer rim to look for an apprentice, with a particular candidate in mind - Asajj Ventress was a nightsister turned slave, trained as an unofficial Jedi padawan before falling to the darkside. Temporarily conquerring her planet, she became trapped as a gladiator but eventually broke free and resiezed control. However, the planet was so remote that the Jedi had not yet caught wind, which is why Ventress' original master had become stranded in the first place. Maul faced and defeated Ventress and took her under his wing, inducting Rattatack into his new order. From his capital on Dathomir, Maul would personally sieze control of various criminal syndicates over the course of several months, including the Hutts, Pykes and Black Sun. Furthermore, he and Ventress would recruit several other factions, including Death Watch, Kaleesh revolutionaries and several seperatism leaning trade federation representatives, businessmen and systems that could provide droids and tunnel funds in exchange for blackmarket deals and protection. This new Shadow Collective would be kept in line by the Nightsisters, and Talzin would advise Maul on all major decisions. Ventress would grow in power and skill in both the Dark Side and Nightsister magic alongside the master, and the two would form a strong sibling like bond. His personal assassin, she would eventually be declared Darth Vindicca. Meanwhile, Maul would also train the Nightbrothers as his personal bodyguards, headed by Brother Viscuss and with Savage Opress, Mauls biological brother, as second in command. The Jedi and Senate would both catch wind of the Shadow Collective however. Alone, both were vulnerable, but together they could crush the Sith+Nightsister conspiracy, but Dooku remained reluctant to enrust the Republic with the clone army. However, the jedi would be breaking the jedi code to fight and lead themselves...
This would probs be more of a political drama with smaller scale wars. largely guerrilla. Probs a Game of Thrones feel. But Id love to see the jedi vs republic vs Maul and Talzin Shadow Collective.

It is interesting. When you think about it dooku in the Star Wars Trilogy lost Qui-Gon turns to the dark side and becomes a Sith, Lord Anakin loses his mother and padme and becomes a Sith Lord Darth Vader.

What you're referring to in the end is essentially a vote of non confidence. Most countries have this at least in theory. It is the most stringent in a council republic as any elected member can be taken away their power if they fuck up.
What if Luke and Mara Jade ether recovered or just didn't destroy the Thrawn clone from 'Vision of the Future'. this takes place just 6 years before the start of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion and having Thrawn in play ether with the new republic or leading the Imperial Remnant would i'm sure make things turn out for the better.

The 3,000 year old Kaminoin Jedi was the only Jedi that was alive before Yoda was alive and also on the high counsel. Great story though as always PPSW!! Going through a second listen of them all because they’re so entertaining and some of the base ideas from fan/viewer suggestions (I’ve put a few up over the videos myself and seen a story or two that has come up with some aspects of the ideas, which is awesome to see the creative spin that you make off of the base storylines that give you a base to go off of using the lore to help guide the possibilities (also the alternative universe theory where choices/actions/results differ in situations) of the story to go in so many unique ways. Most of my family/friends who are into Star Wars also can’t get enough of the videos. Funniest story ever was Yoda doing the death sticks that brought harmony & valance in the force even between the Jedi & Sith. Only thing that would’ve made it funnier is to see them send out a master/knight level from each order together so that they can roll in and the Jedi tries to be peaceful but soon as they get an attitude the Sith cooks them for the Jedi to heal them as they detain them. It would definitely make it so the hardened criminals would have a serious deterrent to avoid nearly being cooked alive before being arrested & healed. The newer videos all being 30+ minutes is awesome. It is nice to have the videos come out often but it is also nice to toss on the long ones and not need to mess with the devices while working to go to the next video.
