I used to visit the fire section at Kinloss a lot as a cadet in the 70s, was great fun driving over all the rough tracks they had. Thank goodness that I joined up as a Rigger instead though lol

Wait a minute…I saw that Shackleton burning in another documentary. So they did that on purpose for firefighter training?!

People would be appalled with the huge black clouds resulting from each fire. I remember seeing many getting off the school bus back in the day.

Had quite a few of practice fires like this. These maybe practice fires but they are actually just like the real thing. Per Ardua Ad Asbestos.

The weight bay and volleyball court must have been closed that day if the fkrs made it in 3 mins. That time relates more to their premature ejaculation problems 🎉

Key requirements for a career in the RAF Fire Service is the ability to make tea and toast.

What shocking spelling - you mean ‘to lure’ and not ‘to lour’ - not a great start to an RAF recruiting film now is it? The RAF - open to poor spellers! 😩
