- Penny Wall Round 2
This wall is half the size of the first Penny wall, but with way more going on. 17 hours and 6,512 Pennies later we have a pretty awesome piece of art.

It's beautiful, but I believe it's also a felony.
Looks lovely, I did a old little side table top, now my son has it in his appartment, he think its kinky. I am going to do this with Euros, ha ha , thats savings on the wall, I dont get any intrest so why not. Great idea, thanks.
Thanks
Cool! I really like this because it's so unique & creative. Nice job.
Thanks very much
😯 Omgosh! I LOVE this!
👍 Wow! Great job!
🤔 How much does the penny wall add up to, do you know?
Expensive wall
Cheaper than using real tile actually.
Wow Wow 😊
Great WOW. Is there a sealer on there … copper reaction to chemical sealer??? Hmmm that’s super nice maybe in water feature backsplash.
Yes, we put some spray varnish on it, it didn’t react with the copper at all!
Thanks
@@theejourneycontinues what type of Varnish please… I’ll keep an eye out a year later if it changed colour… I’m sure inside should be fine ,, I’ll have to do my own and test exterior applications.
@@BlossomPainting I can’t recall what kind of spray varnish, it’s been over a year and a half now and hasn’t changed colour
Newer pennies have no real copper in them. 😊
Nicely done!
What did y’all use for glue?
Liquid nails
Way cool!! Good idea! I'm a renter so.im gonna do it on thin piece wood maybe mdf and nail it up. Easy to remove take down when I move
Great idea

@@theejourneycontinues I was on the fence about tackling the floor. After seeing that beautiful wall I am going to do it. I already have all the pennies and they are sorted.
Wow amazing need patience to do that
Very Nice!
Cool!
Beautiful 😍
Thanks
What glue did you use ? That E6000 ? I’m about to start a penny wall 😊
Pretty sure we use liquid nails. I’m sure there’s a lot of good stuff out there.
Gorgeous wall
Thank you
awesome. for your borders where space shows in your design, you could glue extra pennies right on top of two pennies at a time as you go. thank you.
Good idea
Wow!😃how nice.
Thanks
Stunning!
Thank you
Love it! 🤗🤗🤗
Thanks
😱 I saw no marking out on the wall, how did U get that pattern straight?! 🤯 I was completely lost at, "maths right"! 😆
We did all the measuring we knew how many pennies would fit side to side and top to bottom, that’s what we meant by the math is right. When we started, it was tough to keep the pattern straight, but once you figured it out, no problem.
The finished edges please?? Would love to see them!
I wish I could post a picture here of the finished edges, but I can’t
@@theejourneycontinues why wouldn't you include how you did the edges?
@@nacuda9 we just put corner rounds on the edges
@@theejourneycontinues gotcha : )
Well done! It looks great! Im inspired!
Thanks
How or what glue did u use?
I love the pattern!
Thanks! It was difficult to start, but when we got it down no problem!
@@theejourneycontinues And that wall was the perfect place, too!!
No wonder there is a Penny Shortage! It's YOUR FAULT!
We don’t even use pennies in Canada anymore.
So what kind of glue do you use?
We used liquid nails!!
*WAY BOSS!!!!* Time Not a long as it'd take me.
So, WHAT do you use to Protect Pattern? -->>
What happens when TIME Passes and they All look 'weathered', have that SAME Tarnished Shade?
We finished the wall with spray varnish!
Fantastic!!! What glue do you use?
Thanks. We used Liquid Nails for the glue
@@theejourneycontinues I figured it was something like that. This is definitely going on my 'To do' list!
So I'm Canadian & I love this idea. I want to know where you got all the Cdn pennies. Did you save them up? I've got some but never enough to create a project like that. I wanted to do a floor, but again, not enough pennies. lol...Is there a secret stash somewhere that I can take advantage of?
Well done!!
We had the Pennies and probably have enough to do another project like this!

Looks great! What kind of adhesive did you use? How did you finish all the edges? Did you apply a polyurethane clear coat once completed? Thanks.
What's the reply?
We used liquid nails for the glue and used a spray clear coat for the final finish.
Liquid nails is my friend. Half my house is held together with it. 😂
Question ? ? will you have to coat the wall in some way for tarnish ?
We use spray varnish to finish it off
@@theejourneycontinues Thanks for info
Putting your money to use
Totally agree
Glue?
Yogi Uncle Sam may not like that.
How many pennies per square ft
you should let people know HOW to do it.
How? Take a penny, glue a penny, take a penny, glue a penny, ...
@@lili721 yes but how you measured out the design to fit your wall,,
Traduction en français svp merci
Love it!
Thanks
