Behind The BA1110D Chapter 4 Tourbillon

A few months ago we had the visit of Thomas Baillod who was extremely proud of presenting us his rather ambitious project of developing a Swiss Made tourbillon timepiece for less than 5’000 Swiss francs. Though he showed us a prototype, things were pretty much still laying on paper but in a matter of only a few months his vision became reality with the first production models being now delivered.
Naturally we wanted to know a bit more about this and we had the opportunity of visiting some of the suppliers involved in this project to discuss with them their involvement and what does this Chapter 4 timepiece represents for them and why they participated in making it happen.
One of the main reason why prices could be contained as such is because of the distribution model developed by Thomas Baillod, meaning that you can only order this watch directly on their website (ba111od.com/co...) but it does go a little more beyond this as he had explained in this previous video ( • 100% Swiss Made Tourb... ).
