I give Charlie credit. He knows what he did. He owns it. He’s the first to admit that he had some ongoing issues while filming the show. Whether it was drugs, alcohol and every other type of addictive elements out there, he experienced it. He lived it to the fullest. And for him to say the show was getting in the way of his personal life, that’s the hard truth. I applaud him for his honesty. If I recall correctly, he had addictive type tendencies from quite a young age. Growing up in a family of actors where you are accustomed to a fairly wealthy lifestyle within your family and then become wealthy yourself very early in life, that can’t be easy. When you have that party lifestyle at your fingertips at any given moment, who wouldn’t be tempted or at the very least dabble in that life for a while? Charlie Sheen is living proof that if you choose your behaviour, you choose your consequences. Watching that interview, he seemed to be in a better place. I can honestly say, I’d much rather see him to go on in life and grow old and just be really happy rather than return to television, especially if that meant he’d go back to his old ways. I wish him continued success in his personal life above all else. Be well Charlie …

Two and a half men died when Charlie left, Chuck Lorre is stupid to let him go, No wonder the show didn't last long after charlie left, Charlie was the one who was holding the ratings up :)
His boss was stupid? Hope you are one of the best employees because I dare you to misbehave in many ways you can and be a dick to everyone and claim you cannot be fired because you are one of the best employees. While you are at it, go to your own boss and insult him. I hope you see my point. You gotta respect your bosses. Charlie deserved to be fired.
@Jeremy Dixon but charlie was professional he never came to work high or shit he perfected his work but lorre fired him for some shit between them why the guy does his work the best way possible u can't fire him for personal problems
I've seen him talk in recent clips of dr oz (of all people) and he seems a ton more together than ever. Dr oz interview connects one on one with him and journeys with him and talks about his admitting his first feelings about hiv, how he sees himself in regards to his kids and his parents, his goals for future, how he's (alledgedy) maintaining new sobriety and how he sees his struggles with that as well as his feelings on his daughter bringing his first grandchild into this world.
We have to remember his background and the platforms he started out with! I mean people, the guy was in _Platoon, Wall Street, The Three Musketeers, Being John Malkovich, Sin City_ !! The man is actually a Golden Globe winning actor, a father of four, now an HIV activist. He's not always appeared like an antisocial junkie celebrating his lost soul in TH-cam uploads. But once this business and its dangerous side effects devour you it sucks like a vampir... and what Sheen shows again, that's especially a child star phenomenoon!
What? Catching AIDS as well? I love the show as well but he lived a hard life which affected his wives & children were around all the n'tive etc...that ain't right. But yes, he is a good actor, although in a LOT debt. Anyway, hope he is going better these days 🙂👍

I watched to first episode to see if it would suck as bad as I thought. I wasn't disappointed.... in that regard. In fact I was rather impressed; I didn't think it would suck as much as it did.
It's 2022 and I still watch Two and a Half Men from the first season to the last season Charlie Sheen played, Aston Kutcher did okay, but was just not the same, Charlie is my all time favorite actor. He's the GOAT 🐐
I watched this show because it made me howl with laughter. Charlie Sheen really was great on this but to be honest, I watched to see just how insane Bertas comments could go! Absolutely loved Conchata Ferrell..RIP to a great actress.
The great thing about Two and a Half Men was that the entire ensemble contributed to the shows humour....Alan, Berta, Angus etc were great comedic actors in their own right. The shows writers were awesome....but Charlie Sheen was the essential hub that they all played off.....nobody but Charlie could carry off the central lynch pin role and make it as believable. From a purely selfish point of view I wish he had stayed, the world surely needs a few laughs right now. Charlie a great actor, a great comedic actor, a total lunatic and completely irreplaceable. Thanks for the laughs Mr Sheen ! ❤
IntermitenciaMental Once a party animal... always a party animal . Just look at him in ferris beuler's day off---he was probably really high in that scene...and aparently still is....
He’s a very honest, funny, real and charismatic person. He’s still got the reputation of being a Hollywood train wreck but people who keep up with him can see he’s doing much better now. And I do believe he is sober and single.
I miss him so much ❤️ I hope he is doing well. Wherever he is I hope that he knows that we love him and he was one of the best entertainers of all time. I want more of his content for sure. Love you Charlie ❤️
In the show, Charlie lived a life most men would only dream of having. He had extreme social freedom, lots of hot women, an easy and highly paid job, no committments and above all, a personality most men could only dream of. In short, he was a male role model, the man-hunter, that everybody would like to be like him. That's what attracted people watching the show. I believe that he actually played himself in the show. The Walden character was just crap, a good looking guy who did not even have to try...
Ashton Kutcher is a very bad actor as to comparing to Ch. Sheen. Charlie did not have to speak; his mimic, body language and eyes could express what he felt. Unfortunately Walden character was not funny, Ashton failed here as an actor.
John Fistikis: That's why it was funny, and nobody else could to it: i.e. that was the inside-joke how Sheen actually lived that way, just being a rich slacker and not carrying about anyone or anything. Most people who saw Sheen's films, think he's just a serious actor; but he also did comedy in things like "Hot Shots!" where he and Jon Cryer started out with the comedy dynamic that carried over into Two and a Half Men; and like "Spin City" with his dyamic with Heather Locklear, which carried on as well, and set the stage for Charlie being stuck with Alan (which Chuck Lorre conveniently "forgot about" as he ruined the show).
This. The show lost the overall brotherly dynamic it had going too that I think alot of people, specifically guys, could relate to. Charlie Harper, the older brother, cool, confident, rich, and care-free. Women practically fell into his lap. Alan Harper, the somewhat niave younger brother, neurotic, stress riddled couch surfer, most of the time completely inept when it comes to women. A bit cliche but it was like an odd Ying Yang relationship. Both brothers had faults and skills that at times complemented each other( although tbh most of the time Charlie had more overall skill in all departments compared to Alan) but nevertheless, it worked for the show, and people could relate. When they replaced Charlie with Walden, a nerdy tech-geek with little to no proper social skills that couldn't even come close to filling the shoes of Charlie Harper, the dynamic completely fell apart. Now you had both the main protagonists be complete schmucks and partners in incompetence. Charlie was funny because he had charisma and charm. You would be laughing with him(most of the time) unlike Walden, who you more laughed at, mostly due to his lack of skill.
Charlie sheen never left two and a half man, he only decided to let the final season take place in real life, then charlie sheen and charlie harper united to become one and that created one crazy crossover.
He made the show funny. The seasosn with aston kutcher sucked, then they tried to bring in charlies daughter who was like him and liked women and drank but still sucked and she wasmt even funny. This show better than ANGER MANAGEMENT. I still watch all two and a half men, they never get old. My favorite sit com.
thunderdrake13 I'm not necessarily blaming Ashton. He knew that it would be an extremely difficult role and he chose to take it on any way. Now the show has basically sank and no one really gives a damn about it any more. Ashton deserves partial blame because he still chose to take on the role. I believe that if an actor is one of a kind like Charlie Sheen and they're going to leave a show or be thrown off a show, the show should then be cancelled and then just play reruns. I feel the exact same way about The Price is Right and Dick Clark's Rockin New Years Eve.
Furby Gender, how do you expect for Ashton to fill in somebody else trademark. Charlie wasn't successful when he took over Michael J. Fox role in Spin City. The first of anything is always the original. Everything else is and will be just " another one".
He was a man dealing with issues just like any other person in life, but he did go a little too hard with the drugs and alcohol but who knows what demons he was really dealing with. I wish him well in his recovery, I hope he’s well and healthy especially since he’s been laying low staying away from the media
It was my favourite comedy sitcom. I loved watching it after work multiple times over and over and still made me laugh. After Charlie left i haven't seen any of the episodes. This show is nothing without Charlie and every other actor on stage was in his shadow
I fell in love with the show only a year ago! As soon as I saw Ashton in place of Charlie it was over for me watching an episode without Charlie! You can't successfully replace one of the main stars of a hit sitcom! I mean seriously? It's like firing Raymond from the show "Everybody Loves Raymond!" The show wouldn't be the same without the original STAR'S! I watched all the outtakes & Bloopers from every season Charlie was on the show & he looked & acted just fine! I think the executive's producers, & the production team exaggerated & said things that weren't true about Sheen, trying to make his fans, forget him! They tried to justify their reasons why he was fired! Many people were outraged after finding out he was no longer on this show! Naturally, this shows ratings went down the toilet when Charlie wasn't any longer on the show! Charlie Sheen is a great actor in both drama & comedy-Period! Not many actors can be as versatile as him! XO :)
@Brian Pederson I agree that Charlie was a liability because of his behaviour issues! My point is why continue on with the show to begin with? Why replace one of the main star character's? They had to have known the show wouldn't carry onward with their ratings after canning Sheen!
He was great. He was very funny, i laugh at everything he does in the show..this show never gets old to me. My favorite sit com. Much better than ANGER MANAGEMENT.
I’m 20 and I remember my dad watching this show when I was a kid but I never really liked it could I could never understand it. I watched clips this past quarantine and I loved it and I bought Amazon prime and by coincidence they have all the seasons on there. I’m in season 6 and I’ve been binging. This show is hilarious!
Charlie must come back to the show! Perhaps like this: One day, Charlie appears at the front door, Alan opens, screams loudly and then stares without saying a word. Berta comes out of the kitchen, says "Jesus Christ" and stares, too. Evelyne is in the kitchen, drinking coffee (which she made herself cause Berta refused to). She asks Berta what has happened. Berta says: "Charlie is back". Evelyne answers: "Will you stop making jokes about my dead son?" Berta: "No no, come here, he is really back." Evelyne walks into the living room, saying "I swear to god that I will kill her immediately if ..." Evelyne gets a shock and faints. Berta (looks down at Evelyne), just saying "Finally". New scene: Charlie explains that he married Rose in France and they wanted to start a new life. Rose sent a dead person to Malibu which was prepared by a make-up artist so that this guy looked like Charlie (tbh, who else would have such an idea if not Rose :P) After a while, Charlie got unhappy with Rose, finding out that she is much more insane than he has ever thought. They get divorced and Rose marries a rich French man. Charlie is missing his old life and so he came back to his house. He hoped Alan inherited it. At this moment, Walden comes home, sees Charlie, doesnt know him. After a short explanation Charlie and Walden start to fight, Charlie beats Walden out of the house. Charlie: "Berta, would you make something to eat for me?" Berta (looks at her watch: "Quitting time, see you tomorrow." Of course, Jake is too old to play a dumb pupil, I think he could be easily replaced. The other day, a woman and her little daughter are at the front door. Alan had a one-night-stand with her years ago and now she decided that the girl needs a dad (and the mother needs money). So Alan gets into his vicious circle of paying aliments again and during the week, his daughter lives in Charlie´s house like Jake. She is as dumb as him. And the new name of the programme would be like: "Two men and a half woman". Hope Chuck Lorre reads this post, could anybody tell him? ;)
I just watched this series. But till 8th. I did not expect his death in 9th season. I fast forwarded the 9th 10th 11th and 12th season hoping to get his glance at somepoint but in vain. The worst climax they could give to a talented star who took this series worldwide. Best and Finest actor i have ever seen Charlie sheen. Though its a sitcom, the 9th season title made me emotional. Waiting for his new series to arrive. The best series of the best actor stays alive forever… ✨

@@guspartschmuth592 10 million dollars is still a lot. And his house is worth 20 million dollars or more , I don't know. He sure knows how to spend money if that's true. @@everythingisawesome2903 he got 2 million dollars for a 20 minutes episode , unbelievable . I heard that he wanted 3 million dollars for an episode and that was the reason or one of them why he got fired . By comparison Jon Cryer got 750 thousand dollars for an episode. Charlie Sheen at that time was the highest paid actor. But this show was really something. I watched each episode so many times . At least first 5 or 6 seasons. The dialogues were so funny. Charlie, Alan ,Jake when he was a kid like up to 5th or 6th season, Bertha RIP . They were the best. For me it was the best show ever.
nah, the kid was fucked up by working in showbiz from such a young age and he probably looked up Charlie and saw him fall apart, he then connected charlie's downfall due to the excess caused by showbiz, and probably decided he didn't want to be a part of that anymore.

When he left, so did I.
is it just me or Charlie is damn intelligent and few people word their sentences as he can?
He seems intelligent because he seems like he means what he says, but there's also the slim chance he's just bullshitting everybody.

Charlie was the best but everybody in the main cast gave their best and were funny. That's the reason of the show's success

Real reason: He was using that money to be like he is on the show with the women and drugs and it affected him on the show.
yes but who wouldn't?
Vaggelis Vaggelioy It was the attitude change that got him fired. Sure if I had money I'd spend it like that but I wouldn't let it change my attitude

He’s a very honest, funny, real and charismatic person. He’s still got the reputation of being a Hollywood train wreck but people who keep up with him can see he’s doing much better now. And I do believe he is sober and single.

he would he the penis
It’s not real,it’s fantasy,with great actors,acting!
He is my hero and role model.
Charlie was the show I watch the everyday still
Charlie sheen never left two and a half man, he only decided to let the final season take place in real life, then charlie sheen and charlie harper united to become one and that created one crazy crossover.
Charlie Sheen makes the show more fun, without him the show sucks.. without him the show should have called

Januvi O. Yup we still miss him watching reruns to this day still.
I thought at least they will bring him on the last episode, but hmmm.
Though Ashton is funny, he doesn't do the show very well and it's nothing without Charlie.
+Mentholian Smoke Ashton was funny in that 70's show but not at all in two and a half men
+jefferyS694 Exactly. He was hilarious in That 70's Show but I'd never watch this show with him in it. He feels like an intruder into that show.
sucks how ppl blame ashton. He had a huge role to fill, but i think the blame is more on the producers
thunderdrake13 I'm not necessarily blaming Ashton.
Two and a Half Men is one of my favorite shows. Charlie Sheen is one of the many reasons why i watched.
Charlie sheen, one of the best actors around!!!! He comes from a family of true talent and wish him all the best.
This is what makes Two and a Half Men one of the greatest comedy shows of all time. This man. On and off the screen.
I believe he was so incredibly pro that he could perform his duties and deliver what they needed for taping the show better than most sober actors.
He was a man dealing with issues just like any other person in life, but he did go a little too hard with the drugs and alcohol but who knows what demons he was really dealing with. I wish him well in his recovery, I hope he’s well and healthy especially since he’s been laying low staying away from the media
He didn't go "a little too hard." He went completely off the rails.

Charlie On Two and A Half Men Big 👍's Up! One Of My Favorite Tv Shows! I Watch Reruns On Paramount & IFC All The Time!
The end of Two and a half men is so disappointing :(
No its not wtf I enjoyed every second of that

Rose sent a dead person to Malibu which was prepared by a make-up artist so that this guy looked like Charlie (tbh, who else would have such an idea if not Rose :P)
After a while, Charlie got unhappy with Rose, finding out that she is much more insane than he has ever thought.
Charlie: "Berta, would you make something to eat for me?" Berta (looks at her watch: "Quitting time, see you tomorrow."
Of course, Jake is too old to play a dumb pupil, I think he could be easily replaced.
And the new name of the programme would be like:
"Two men and a half woman".
Hope Chuck Lorre reads this post, could anybody tell him? ;)
