No youll just be a functioning addict which is actually the worst kind of addict. They believe they have everything under control and lie to themselves and make justifications for their addiction. Hitting rock bottom wont happen for these addicts they will eventually OD or mentally snap.

Man, I really dont get why people can be so judgemental about his personal life. Nobody's perfect and he's not running a country or a school, he's just an entertainer and he's great on what he does. He may not be the best actor but he's comedy is quite effective on films and tv.
A guy in my city knowingly infected 7 women with HiV. He was jailed for 7 years. Sheen on the other hand, everyone laughs and smiles with him, pays him heaps of money, and gives him respect. WTAF.

As someone who suffers from depression and anxiety i have this down up feelings I can weak op feeling like I want to die and then minutes later I'm happy... But I don't use drugs lol only anxiolytics when I need them. And of course I'm not bipolar even if sometimes may seem so I event actually asked my psychiatrist I am bipolar? Why this emotional up and downs ( it's like I'm on PMS full time) well he denied so must be true and my lithium levels are normal.
Sheen was on drugs, or recovering from the plus his personal tragedy. People tend to make stupid jokes and laugh to seem ok, I do.

Shows how brilliant in its time Chapelle Show actually was. It started the Charlie Sheen avalanche by way of uncontrollable laughter... Unbelievable... I really wish Dave would do another sketch show... As far as Sheen is concerned underneath all the bizarre bravado and bad behavior there is an innate intelligence that you have to pay attention to in order to understand...

I think that there might be some poetic justice in the fact that Dave Chappelle's sketch made Sheen's hernia rupture from laughter.

@@j.goebbels2134 you don’t think maybe that was a direct cause of the drugs? Usually addicts have at the very least a surface level awareness of how they’re acting and being perceived. The thing is, they’re high, and they feel good enough at the time that it doesn’t matter. I know people that have gotten clean, but still don’t have an epiphany or moment of realization about how iritic they were acting. The fact that he has enough self awareness to understand just how bad he was while addicted tells me everything I need to know. He was always aware. Coke definitely makes you confident enough to where you start to get delusional and think you’re KILLING IT in life. If you have the most base level of knowledge about drugs you’re able to create a divide between who he truly is, vs his ego and drugs.

The thing that's awesome about Sheen is he didn't become reclusive during his meltdown. He became more vocal. That doesn't seem to happen too often. And he remained successful. Not that anyone should model their life after his, but the whole thing was pretty awesome.
