Pro angler 14 is probably the most stable kayak on the market. The big water 132 he is in is the same yak I have and it is also very stable, although it is a lot more prone to flipping. It helps not being really heavy too.

It didn't look like the gopro(plus I know you have had the audio issue happen). 2, Did you notice the klouds behind you at 31:47 while editing? On the right side of your head. I caught the biggest flathead of my life a few weeks ago at 26 pounds which isn't much in your type of fishing but here in Central OH the blue and flathead aren't as plentiful as the Tennessee River. You've definitely inspired me to get a kayak as soon as I can afford it lol

So weird, 20 years of flathead fishing and I can count on one hand the flatheads I've caught on cutbait.

@@marklemist6928 I’ve caught countless flatheads on cut bait. Didn’t have enough live bluegills one time when I was hanging limblines, so I just started cutting them in half. Never thought I’d catch anything but channels. Wrong. I’ve never gone back to live bait. Like everybody else, I grew up with the “gotta have live bait for flatheads” mantra.

Blue cats eat more like channel cats. Like chicken breast or something like that blue cats will eat that sometimes. Very very rarely do you ever catch a flathead on something like that. But cut bait sure sometimes. I'm like most though I catch more flatheads on live bait. But they do eat cut bait for sure.

September seems like one of the best months for big flatheads. I always catch alot more flatheads than blues during September for some reason.

Love your videos…very long time viewer. Maybe you can change it up a bit and use some form of different/odd bait on just one of the rods. You can use anything…trout, goldfish, etc….people are intrigued by variety.

I thought about you modifying your rig to make landing fish easier. Put a swivel just above the sinker. That way you can use the sinker as a handle and not worry about a fish stripping line through your hand. Just a thought.

You should find some kind of fish tagging method to see if you ever catch the same fish multiple times. Also to record the growth of individual fish.
