This is how I fix a tire experiencing a slow air leak . The liquid stuff is not my first choice and wont be after experiencing poor results. You may have great success with the goop but for me it's not an option I will try again. Cheers Check link below

Nice job Steve you are the master my grandpa used to fix his tractor tires and his semi truck tires kind of like that. I don't use tire Slime or anything like that in my tires tire shops around here generally don't like to mess with tires that have that stuff in there because they have to clean the rim

    • @SteveRobReviews

The slime works but its not a product I reach for with a rim leak. Ya its messy.

I have the same sealer can and it always works for me a special on my old truck rims....they oxidize between the tire and the rim....I clean them up and then that rubber stuff and were off to the races....I use the slime stuff for the mule tires at the camp....them back tires are as old as the mule and cracked or checked and the rubber stuff don`t work on that so, therefore, the green slime....there all good but in there different aplication....no slim for highway use....repair the tire leak....good one....CHEERS ..........ah ya....like the car jack mod

Gator I seen atv with slime in the tires and slime all over the inside fenders too when your driving at 50 MPH LOL Yes a lot of them leak stoppers do work in the right application . I was surprised to see how expensive atv tires are but your arms don't reach your wallet so easily . LOL.

I've sealed tons of beads with green slim and or bead sealer. You're right Bead sealer is better by far. Green slime does work but you need a ton of it or I will dilute it with windshield washer fluid to make it flow better. However, I did a video about a year ago on Tire-Ject and that is by far the best "put into the tire" tire leak and bead sealer I've ever used.

Nice job on the tire leak!! The green slime is a good stop gap. But if you add it to your off road tires and expect it to be a 'final' solution, you'll be disappointed. Nice mod to the jack and valve stem remover. Using those jacks with a ratchet or drill motor is way better than than those 'wands' that's for sure!!! Have a great week Steve!!!

Tried Green slime on my wheelbarrow and hand cart. No luck at all. Went to Harbor Freight and bought replacement tires on the rim for not much more than what that green crap cost. Wasn't aware of tire bead sealer. Will give that a go next time. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Wyatt the bead sealer for rim leaks is a good repair plus I have marked the tire to rim and on snowblower tires and if the air pressure goes down they spin on the rim but not with the bead sealer. Cheers

I used the green stuff in two tires. The one was the back tire on a riding lawn mower. The tread was cracking on the tire. It sealed the tire. The other tire was a small trailer tire that i use with the garden tractor. It was leaking air at the rim. I took the tire off and laid it down while putting the stuff in. After the stuff is in the tire fill it with air and tip and turn it so it runs up where the bead is. Then turn the tire over and tip it back and forth so it gets on the bead on the other side. I wouldn't use it on car tires. Garages that change or repair tires don't like the mess. I am guessing that using the stuff you use would have worked as well or better but would make it necessary to break the bead and in the case where it was leaking in the tread it would be necessary to remove the tire.
