Episode was decent. Another one kinda like the Korea one. Nothing was said in this that wasn't already something out there.
The North Korea one was baffling how Scott Norton was so shocked why they hated Americans. It's like dude, your government dropped more bonbs than they did in WWII, incinerating 5 million people, mostly civilians. North Korea was for more progressive than the authoritarian shit hole of South Korea and all that progress in infrastructure was demolished. I'm not American so it just shocked me how little an American could know about that history. Up there as the most stupid I've seen someone be on television.

I knew about the fact Kanyon was gay, and felt bullied by the Boy George skit, and his sad suicide, but I was unaware of how close he and Mitchell were, that was heartbreaking how much James cared for the guy.
Different episodes serve different purposes though. Evan and Jason were on a podcast recently (this one? I listened to a few in one week tbh) talked about aiming to tell the emotional story between the people behind the star we all know and love and not necessarily a specific event like the North Korea trip or the plane ride from hell.
Nitro, Labor Day in like 97 me and my buddies were front row and my friend had a sign that said “Wrath+Mortis+Glaicer=Gay” It’s not excuse but we were 16 and this was a different era. When they came down the aisle Mortis stopped, read the sign, drew back and spit a massive loogie at my buddy. He got the sign up just in time to block it. When he came out we were horrified. It’s just horrible to know you had a part in making someone feel like that. It’s been over 20 years but it still sucks knowing the guy was suffering like that.
I do feel bad that Kanyon was hurt by your sign knowing the deeper reason for it. But a teenager carrying a childish sign to a wrestling show isn't anything to feel too guilty about. That was such a casual type of insult back then, and also one that many if not most wrestlers probably got and it wasn't coming from a place of real hate, in your case obviously.
Also, recall that wrestling itself back then included a lot gay-as-the-butt-of-the-joke angles. So it's not like a teen dude watching this stuff can be expected to be more sensitive and conscientious, lol.
(Personally, I don't even think all those angles were done with hateful intentions - more cheap and maybe tacky bids for laughs if anything. But that was then, and our culture has moved on a bit from that now.)
I am all for free speech but I am a bigger fan of keeping my mouth shut when I have nothing nice to say. So when it comes to the guest artists supplying Corny with some really good thumbnails while Travis is sick then maybe some of you guys should do the same. Love the guest artists' work and hope Travis gets well soon

Kanyon was a good worker despite what Flair said about him. And a great guy too. Made more positive actions on his finger than Flair ever had on his own body.

Positively Kanyon was hilarious. He was a mega talent. He was very good in the ring. He could portray many different chatacters. Could have been bigger with a little better writing & booking.
College educated, he left his career for wrestling. In my opinion, made the best choice.

I guess Jim missed the part where the Young Bucks talked about their relationship to him, including a very dark part about a 45 minute phone call where he was threatening to kill himself to one of them. They definitely had a personal connection of sorts.
For a good period of time Kanyon was my favorite wrestler or at least one of them way back when and I'm glad he's getting some much deserved respect. I remember the Boy George thing baffling me because he was being used well before that bullsh*t!
WWE : *Covers up Pat Patterson sexually assaulting and abusing the 'ring boys' that set the ring up*
WWE : Embarrasses and degrades Kanyon over his homosexuality.
What a truly sick and disgusting company.
Pat Patterson never did anything like that in WWE or anywhere else. Get your facts straight before you go slandering the dead

It was a tiny lisp but fuck didn’t dusty Rhodes have a lisp. As far as his New York accent I didn’t hear it but maybe because I’m from Jersey I’m use to it. This story broke my heart he was so young. RIP Chris. Who better than KANYON NOBODY!

The young bucks knew kanyon earlier in their career. I think they mention in their book about Kanyon hitting on them or something.

Who is the new Artist? I know Travis Heckler is sick or something but I've heard around three or so different artists names but none can make up their minds about who is doing these superb pieces.

I've said this here before , Kanyon was one of the best wrestlers to do. He used to always do really cool maneuvers and was pretty righteous on the microphone . I never understood when I was younger why he never got the big match even though he was great going back to his Mortis days . Unfortunately as an adult I can understand , but only imagine the reality of the situation . #whobetterthankanyon

The offensive moves Kanyon came up was ahead of it's time. Was a huge fan. And the last image of him on national TV was getting a chair wrapped around his head. The Invasion MVP deserved better.
Kanyon was one of my Boyz. He was a guy I grew up watching. He was amazing could hold a Intercontinental Title forever on my card. WWE or WE would bring him back and do what they did just for the simple fact at look how they have handled other talent and how they treat them before they go!! It's wrong. I was shocked John Cena said Kanyon was not a good wrestler. His face while he was saying it wasn't selling it. Terrible they would 💩 on Kanyon.

I was at a WWE show once and Mortis was the dark match! It was SO random. But I think if he could’ve gotten a serious run in WWE as Mortis I think it could’ve worked.
Well he was originally supposed to return as Mortis actually, and how was this planned?, If you look at the SmackDown Magazine from 2003 its shows a photo, information about him returning

Great episode but I disagree with the last part...it's not true that the YB and Cage had nothing to say and where there just because. Cage talked about how he was trained by kanyon and the matches in the indies and the YB talked about traveling with him and him almost taking his life when on the phone with Matt...so not really there because they where fans. Still great talk (and lovely art)
