    There's no need with holding on to the title "tallest building" when it's just 32 stories. It's better to sell the plan with other features of the tower. Sujimoto is also using the same phrase "tallest" to sell his new project.
    Good luck to the developers

      A few things wrong here: The current tallest building in Nigeria is the NECOM building, also with 32 floors. So while it my seem "just 32 stories" it is on par with the current tallest building.
      Also, the number of stories, while a good indicator of the height of a building, isn't accurate enough to conclude on height. For example; if the standard height of each floor is aproximately 2.3 metres, then 32 stories would be about 74m. The NECOM building is almost 100m taller than that. A much smarter comment would've been to ask how tall is the proposed height, or if in addition to the floors, a spire would be added, or so and so.
      Additionally, just because the appeal of another company is the same isn't a valid enough reason to change the tagline, especially if the other company's project is older and therefore might be shorter than this company's proposed height.
      I think this comment is a flawed statement, and would benefit from a little bit more research.

      Actually, the current tallest building is the NECOM house with 32 floors. A simple google search can confirm this.

      Actually, Eko Champagne Pearl houses 34 floors at 135m, while the current tallest structure in Eko Atlantic City, Azuri One Tower, houses 33 floors at 145m.

    It is only the least traveled, the ignoramus, deceivers, and unambitious people that call Eko Atlantic Dubai of Africa. Eko Atlantic is barely Dubai Marina. Wait a minute, 30 story as the tallest building? That is disappointing

    • @SlybabaAneru
      @SlybabaAneru  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Unfortunately, the city development has been significantly delayed, resulting in the feelings in some quarters that it is a white elephant project.
      Nigeria has a huge infrastructural problem and it is laudable when we see ordinary Nigerians go out of their way to create some value in the country. This may just be a 32 storey building but it’s definitely paving the way for taller, bigger and better.
      Hope is not a strategy but it is the only thing most of us have left for a better Nigeria. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts🙏

      I also don't like when our people say dubaimof africa and se all know it's not even close. We are not developed enough to be on that level. We could have been if we had a sane society and system, where people do the right things and government don't steal people's money and future from them.

    • @okesegun2118
      @okesegun2118 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I know that it is incredibly hypocritical to refer to the city as the "Dubai of Africa" since it is nothing like what we see in Dubai. The name "Dubai of Africa" does not necessarily suggest that it will look exactly like Dubai, but it should be a luxurious metropolis like Dubai. Once completed, the 32-story building would be one of the city's shortest structures. There is a phase of Eko Atlantic City's business area that will house the city's biggest buildings, such as the 50-floor First Bank of Nigeria and the 47-floor Oceanic Hotel, as well as possibly the highest structure in Africa.

      @@okesegun2118 Well, it is almost 20years and so far the actual proposals on ground have been underwhelming. La reve tower was suppose to be the 1st 40+ storey building but it has been downsized to 20+. If it is nothing like Dubai why embarrass the project by nick naming it as such? What doesn’t happen in my lifetime is as good as it never happened. The project has taken so long the projections have become obsolete already
